1. Meloflow: Best for Seamless Short Lo-Fi Loops
Meloflow describes a 15-second loop built from a soft noise bed, gentle rain, vinyl crackle, and muted kick and snare with tape saturation. That specificity makes it the clearest match here for a quiet repeating layer under study footage, a slow montage, or an ambient scene. Its separate example for YouTube background music adds felt piano, gentle electric guitar harmonics, brushed drums, warm sub-bass, and airy pads. Confirm the available loop controls, download formats, and current usage terms on the site before building a delivery workflow.

For a relaxing cue, specify a restrained drum pattern, unhurried tempo, soft bass, and a sparse melodic layer; then use stems to adjust the balance in your own session. A commercial license is available, but check its terms for the particular release or client use.

Relaxing lo-fi depends on a steady, low-pressure groove and a texture that supports the scene without competing with narration, dialogue, or focused work. Name the occasion and the musical parts you want; a broad request for “chill music” leaves too many decisions unspecified. Use these as prompt starting points, then adapt them to the controls the selected tool actually offers.

- Rainy study bed: “Instrumental mellow lo-fi hip-hop, slow relaxed beat, soft rain ambience, felt piano chords, muted kick and brushed snare, warm bass, sparse melody, no vocals, calm late-night study mood.”
- Quiet documentary underscore: “Restrained relaxing lo-fi instrumental for a reflective scene, soft electric piano, gentle tape texture, light percussion, subtle room ambience, no lead vocal, leave space for narration.”
- Short repeating loop: “Seamless 15-second relaxing lo-fi loop, gentle rain, soft noise bed, muted kick and snare, minimal melody, no vocals, end so it joins smoothly to the opening.”
For a spoken documentary, keep the requested melody sparse and avoid asking for a prominent vocal hook. If the tool offers stems, use them to lower or remove a distracting layer in your DAW; if it does not, prompt again with fewer parts and less melodic movement. Loop behavior, exact BPM support, and stem availability vary by tool, so do not assume a prompt phrase creates a guaranteed technical control.
