A murder arrest puts District Attorney Nicholas Baxter and defense attorney Kate Norris in an uncomfortable position in the Season 24 preview for Law & Order. When Kate says the arrested woman wants to hire her, the couple recognizes that talking about the case could blur the line between their personal relationship and their professional duties.
What happens in the sneak peek?
In “Crossing Lines,” Baxter tells Kate that an arrest has been made in a murder investigation. Kate then says the woman asked to retain her legal services.
