Something About Her, the West Hollywood sandwich shop founded by Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney, opened on May 22, 2024. The partners announced that date during an April 30 appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen; Eater Los Angeles reported the shop opened as planned.
When did Something About Her open?
Madix and Maloney announced “May 22” together when Andy Cohen asked for the official opening date on the April 30, 2024 episode of Watch What Happens Live, according to Bravo’s May 1 recap. Eater Los Angeles confirmed the year and reported on opening day that the shop had opened on Wednesday, May 22, 2024.
What happened on opening day?
Eater’s May 22, 2024 report described a long-awaited launch after delays involving permitting and a change in chef. It estimated that about 125 people waited outside on opening day; that is Eater’s reported figure, not an official count. The story also listed sandwiches at $14–$18 at the time, which should not be read as a current price range.
The opening followed an earlier, more tentative timeline. In June 2023, Maloney said the partners hoped to open that summer and noted that approvals and other moving parts were outside their control. That was a description of the pre-opening process, not evidence that the shop is still delayed. Bravo reported her comments on June 28, 2023.

Where is the shop, and what does it serve?
Published location details conflict: Eater’s opening-day story gave 649 North Robertson Boulevard, while the shop’s official homepage, About page, and Toast ordering listing give 640 North Robertson Boulevard, West Hollywood, CA 90069. Because the business’s own current pages and the ordering listing do not match the contemporaneous opening report, confirm the address with the shop before setting out.
The official ordering listing features sandwiches named The Diane, The Kerry, The Reese, The Drew, The Cameron, and The Kate. In the captured listing, those examples were priced between $14 and $18; menus and prices can change. The shop also lists pickup ordering and promotes catering through its ordering channel.
