Ariana Grande’s “last hurrah” comment referred to her 2026 Eternal Sunshine Tour and the possibility that she might not tour again for a long time—not a permanent retirement from touring. The tour ended in London on September 1, 2026.
What Grande meant by “one last hurrah”
Grande made the remark in November 2025 during an appearance on Amy Poehler’s Good Hang podcast, while discussing her return to touring. The Los Angeles Times quoted her saying, “I’m very excited to do this small tour, but I think it might not happen again for a long, long, long, long time.” She added that she wanted to give the tour her all and called it “one last hurrah.” Los Angeles Times, November 19, 2025

The Independent’s account of the same appearance included her qualification: “One last hurrah! For now.” It also reported that Grande did not want to make definitive statements about her future. Taken together, the comments described a likely long pause between tours, not a final decision to stop touring. The Independent, November 19, 2025
The Eternal Sunshine Tour is over
The tour that was upcoming when Grande made the remark has since concluded. The Associated Press reported that it covered 41 dates in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom, including a 10-date London leg. Its final show took place in London on September 1, 2026. What she later said about taking a break
In August 2026, Grande addressed fans at a Chicago show after plans for a post-tour break became public. The Associated Press reported that she said the decision had been made quietly well in advance and was “not a reactive or impulsive thing.” She also said, “It was a decision that was made from a thoughtful and empowered place. And I want you to know that many things can be true at the same time.” AP reported that she withdrew from the planned London production of Sunday in the Park With George.
