That wording is narrower than saying that all League of Legends screen stories are over. Arcane is one story in Riot Games’ larger Runeterra setting, and the end of this series does not establish that Riot has abandoned future stories or projects connected to that universe. The accurate summary is: Arcane is ending, while the wider fictional world may continue in other forms.
What is Arcane Season 2 about?
Spoiler-free answer: Season 2 begins in the aftermath of Jinx’s attack on the Piltover council. That event intensifies the already unstable conflict between Piltover and Zaun and pushes the characters toward increasingly dangerous choices.
The season continues to center on the fractured relationship between sisters Vi and Jinx, whose lives have taken opposing paths. It also explores the consequences of Season 1 and the darker sides of its central characters. Those details are enough to establish the premise without revealing the final act’s resolution.

The second season followed an approximately three-year creative effort after Season 1 debuted in November 2021. Netflix’s making-of coverage describes collaboration between Fortiche and Riot teams in the United States and France.

Fans looking for a collectible can search for the Arcane Season 2 soundtrack vinyl.
