Apple TV+ is expanding internationally as a subscription channel inside Amazon Prime Video. The United States received the add-on in October 2024, and Amazon’s latest specifically identified rollout announcement launched it in France on April 21, 2026. That announcement named 17 markets in total, but it described the expansion as ongoing—not as a definitive list of every country where the channel is now available.
Amazon calls the channel Apple TV, while Apple’s standalone streaming service has historically been known as Apple TV+. This rollout means subscribers can watch eligible Apple programming through Prime Video; it does not mean that an Apple TV device or the Apple TV app is being added to Amazon hardware.
Where Apple TV on Prime Video is confirmed
Amazon France’s April 21, 2026 announcement identified these markets as part of the rollout:

The United States was the first launch market. Amazon announced the U.S. service on October 9, 2024, saying that additional territories would follow. The later French announcement confirms a broader expansion, but it should not be read as a complete global availability directory. Check the local Amazon storefront for the definitive answer in your country.

Amazon France’s rollout announcement lists the 17 markets above. Amazon’s overall Prime Video service is available in more than 240 countries and territories, but that does not mean every Prime Video channel is offered in every one of them.
Is this the same as Apple TV+ through Apple?
Not exactly. The services may carry overlapping Apple programming, but the billing route and viewing environment are different:
- Apple TV through Prime Video: Amazon bills the customer, and eligible content is watched through Prime Video.
- Direct Apple TV+ subscription: Apple or the relevant Apple account handles billing, and viewing normally takes place through the Apple TV app or Apple’s web service.
- Apple TV hardware: This is a separate product, such as an Apple TV 4K device. It is not what the Prime Video rollout refers to.
Apple’s own availability page covers a much broader direct Apple TV+ footprint than the Prime Video rollout identified by Amazon. Direct Apple availability therefore does not prove that the Prime Video channel is available in the same country.
What can subscribers watch?
Amazon’s announcements promote Apple originals, films, documentaries, children’s programming and selected live sports. Examples named in the U.S. announcement include Severance, Slow Horses, The Morning Show, Presumed Innocent, Shrinking, Silo, Hijack, Loot, Palm Royale, Wolfs and The Instigators.
The French announcement additionally mentions Pluribus, Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, The Gorge, Carême, Masters of the Air and Ted Lasso.

These titles are examples, not a guarantee of a universal or permanent catalog. Film and television rights, release windows, subtitles, dubbing, sports contracts and local regulations can differ by country. Amazon also referenced Major League Soccer and Major League Baseball in its U.S. announcement, but sports availability is particularly territory-dependent.
How to subscribe through Prime Video
- Open the Prime Video website or app using the Amazon account for your country.
- Search for Apple TV, rather than only “Apple TV+,” or open the Prime Video subscriptions and channels section.
- Select the Apple TV subscription page.
- Review the local price, taxes, trial terms and renewal conditions.
- Confirm the subscription using the payment method attached to the Amazon account.
- Open Apple TV programming directly inside Prime Video.
The labels and sign-up flow can vary between the web, mobile apps and smart-TV apps. If the channel does not appear on a television, check the local Amazon website first. Amazon describes third-party Prime Video subscriptions as services that can be added, managed and canceled from Prime Video.

In the United States, the service is presented as a Prime Video add-on. Outside the U.S., check the terms shown by the relevant Amazon site rather than assuming that every country uses the same membership arrangement.
Pricing: the U.S. figure is not a worldwide price
Amazon announced the U.S. Apple TV add-on at $9.99 per month in October 2024. That is a U.S. launch price, not an international price. Currency, taxes, promotional trials and renewal terms can vary by market, so readers elsewhere should use the local Amazon storefront before subscribing.
Amazon also announced a separate Apple TV and Peacock Premium Plus bundle for $19.99 per month in the United States as a limited-time offer. It is not evidence of a universal international price or bundle.

For comparison, Amazon’s general U.S. Prime guide lists Prime membership at $14.99 per month or $139 per year. That membership cost is separate from the Apple TV channel charge and should not be confused with it.

The Prime Video route is mainly a convenience and account-management choice. It may suit viewers who already use Prime Video and want one app and one Amazon bill. Direct Apple billing may be more convenient for Apple-device users, Apple One subscribers or people who want their streaming subscription managed through Apple.
Existing Apple TV+ subscribers should check for duplicate billing
There is no universal transfer process established by the sources for moving an existing direct Apple TV+ subscription to Amazon. Before starting a new Amazon subscription:
- Check whether Apple currently bills you directly.
- Review the renewal date and cancellation terms of the existing subscription.
- Confirm whether any Amazon trial is limited to new or eligible customers.
- Check whether profiles, downloads, watchlists or viewing history would transfer; do not assume that they will.
- After subscribing through Amazon, verify both your Amazon and Apple account subscriptions.
Starting the Amazon channel does not automatically prove that a direct Apple subscription has been canceled. If both remain active, you may be charged twice. Refund eligibility depends on the provider that processed the charge.

- Does the device support Prime Video?
- Does the local Prime Video app expose the Apple TV channel?
- Is direct Apple TV+ available through the device’s Apple TV app?
A device may support Prime Video generally while showing different channels, payment options or catalogs in different countries. Updating the Prime Video app and checking the web version can help distinguish a device-interface issue from a regional availability issue.
If Apple TV does not appear in Prime Video
- Check the local Amazon website, not only the television app.
- Search for Apple TV instead of “Apple TV+.”
- Confirm that you are signed in to the Amazon account and regional storefront associated with your residence.
- Update Prime Video and sign in again.
- Review the local subscription page for payment or account eligibility requirements.
- Check whether your Prime Video access is supplied through a telecom provider or another third party with different channel support.
Do not use a VPN to bypass regional availability. The catalog, billing, payment eligibility and account behavior may not match your actual country of residence.
If a particular show or sport is missing
A missing title does not necessarily mean the subscription is broken. Availability can differ because of territorial rights, release schedules, sports contracts, language options or local edits. A program named in an Amazon launch announcement is not a promise that it will be available in every country, indefinitely, or with the same audio and subtitle options.
Which option makes the most sense?
- Choose Apple TV through Prime Video if you already use Prime Video, want one Amazon bill, or prefer managing several channels in one interface.
- Choose direct Apple TV+ if you use Apple devices, Apple One or Apple account billing, or if the Prime Video channel is unavailable in your country.
- Consider the U.S. Apple TV–Peacock bundle only if you are in the United States, want both services and the limited-time offer is still available to your account.
For readers who already pay for several Apple services, Apple One may be worth comparing separately. The value depends on the current local plan and price; it should not be assumed to include an Amazon-billed Prime Video channel.
