In a PerthNow report published 12 April 2024, Australian adult creator Annie Knight said the mistake she encountered most often was rushing foreplay and failing to pay attention to what gives a partner pleasure. The article attributes the report’s “500 men” figure to Knight; it does not independently verify it.
What did Annie Knight say men get wrong?
Knight told PerthNow that many partners moved too quickly from foreplay to penetration and did not take time to learn what she enjoyed. She described the pattern as “in-and-out, and one-and-done,” and said some partners acted “like a jackhammer” after, in her view, failing at foreplay. Those are Knight’s words as reproduced by the publication, not findings established by a study.
Her practical point, as reported, was about attentiveness: take time, notice a partner’s responses and communicate rather than assume that one approach works for everyone. The story does not endorse a product or prescribe a particular sexual routine.
What does “after bedding 500 men” mean?
The number is Knight’s own reported claim. PerthNow’s 12 April 2024 article does not independently establish how many partners she had, and the figure is not a statistic about men or sexual behavior generally. The report identifies Knight as a Gold Coast OnlyFans star.

Does the report show that this is a common mistake?
No. The PerthNow story presents one person’s experience and opinion; it does not measure how common rushed foreplay or inattention is among men. LADbible later reported similar opinions from Knight and three other Australian adult creators, but those interviews also do not constitute representative evidence: LADbible’s 8 May 2024 coverage.

The article also recounted Knight’s claim that she was dismissed from a corporate job after her employer discovered her OnlyFans account. PerthNow said she described receiving an email stating “termination of contract” and referenced her appearance on SBS Insight. These details are her account as reported by PerthNow; the report does not independently verify them against employment records or the SBS program.
