Hallmark’s listing for For Love & Honey says Andrew Walker and co-star Margaret Clunie discussed filming in Malta, learning what an apiary is, and memorable moments on set. It does not provide a transcript, so the available listing establishes the conversation’s topics—not Walker’s exact remarks. The film is a Malta-set romance; Walker’s Curious Caterer movies, by contrast, are mysteries in which he plays detective Tom Schultz alongside Nikki DeLoach as caterer Goldy Berry.
What Andrew Walker and Margaret Clunie discussed
Hallmark’s official video listing describes a live conversation with Walker and Clunie about working in Malta, finding out what an apiary is, and memorable moments during filming. The listing does not include a transcript or exact quotations, so those topics can be reported, but specific opinions or anecdotes should not be attributed to either actor without the video itself.
What happens in For Love & Honey
Walker stars as Austen opposite Clunie as Eva. Hallmark’s film synopsis follows Eva, a beekeeper who rescues a hive and uncovers an ancient fresco. Austen, a visiting archeologist, believes the discovery is important to his research and persuades Eva to help investigate it across Malta. Hallmark lists the film’s premiere date as June 1, 2024, on its Andrew Walker page.
The story’s central ingredients—beekeeping, an archaeological discovery, and a search across Malta—make this a romance-adventure premise rather than one of Walker’s recurring detective stories.

The catering events and settings change from movie to movie, while the Goldy-and-Tom partnership connects the mysteries.
