The first-season cast of America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders is made up of real documentary participants—not actors—including rookie and veteran candidates, team leaders, and a Cowboys executive. Netflix Tudum profiles 15 people from the series’ 2023–24 season; the guide is not a complete candidate roll call or a current-team roster. Read Netflix Tudum’s cast guide.
America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders cast list
The names below follow Netflix Tudum’s first-season guide. Candidate labels matter: being featured as a rookie or veteran candidate does not, by itself, mean a person made the final team.
Leadership and executive
- Kelli Finglass — Director of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders and a former member. Tudum says she had led the team since 1991. Finglass describes the energy of new rookie and veteran candidates as what keeps her energized over the years.
- Judy Trammell — Head choreographer and DCC alumna who develops choreography for the team.
- Charlotte Jones — Dallas Cowboys executive vice president and chief brand officer, as well as Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders president. Tudum says she was responsible for hiring Finglass.
Candidates, veterans, and alumni
- Charly — Rookie candidate with a long ballet background.
- Anisha — Rookie candidate and full-time orthodontist; her audition solo drew on Bollywood dance.
- Kelly V — Rookie candidate from Weehawken, New Jersey.
- Kelcey — Fifth-year veteran candidate and pediatric nurse, balancing a full-time job with DCC leadership responsibilities.
- Ari — Rookie candidate and medical-device salesperson who returned to auditions after being cut in 2022.
- Reece — Rookie candidate whose profile discusses her faith and its place in her life.
- Victoria — Fourth-year veteran candidate and fitness and dance instructor. Her mother, Tina, was also a DCC member in the 1980s.
- Madeline — Fifth-year veteran candidate and dance instructor; her mother was a former DCC member.
- Sophy — Second-year veteran candidate and dance instructor.
- Anna Kate — Rookie candidate and investment-advisor representative; she is Caroline Sundvold’s younger sister.
- Caroline Sundvold — Retired DCC member from the class of 2022 and Anna Kate’s older sister.
- Kat — Retired DCC member from the class of 2022 and Caroline’s friend.
How many candidates made the 2023 team?
Netflix Tudum’s account says the finalist group narrowed from 76 candidates to the official 2023 team of 36 members. That figure gives the selection context for the season; it does not mean Tudum’s 15 featured profiles are the full group of candidates or every member of the team. Netflix Tudum’s guide provides the figure.
Which season does this cast list cover?
This list covers the participants profiled for the first season, which follows the 2023–24 squad from auditions and training camp through the NFL season.
