All Six Seasons of Community Are Streaming on Peacock: Where to Start and What to Watch

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Peacock’s U.S. Community page currently lists all six seasons and 110 episodes, including Season 6 and its finale. That makes Peacock a convenient home for the complete series—not merely a selection of its most popular years. For a first viewing, start with Season 1 in order; Seasons 2 and 3 are the safest picks for the show’s peak.

Peacock labels the series “Available Now Only on Peacock,” but availability elsewhere can differ by country, date and licensing window. A U.S. JustWatch check dated July 30, 2026, also listed Hulu, Philo and digital purchase options.

What is streaming on Peacock?

The official Peacock series page provides season and episode selections for all six seasons—110 episodes in total. Season 6 is included, with episodes such as “Modern Espionage,” “Wedding Videography” and “Emotional Consequences of Broadcast Television.”

The listing is for Peacock’s U.S. service. Catalogs can change by territory, date and licensing agreement, so readers outside the United States should check their local Peacock catalog.

Community is not a Peacock original. It was created by Dan Harmon and distributed by Sony Pictures Television; Sony’s official page also identifies Peacock as a streaming destination.

Which seasons are best?

“Best” is a recommendation, not a Peacock category or an objective ranking. The seasons differ sharply in tone, cast lineup and production circumstances.

Season What it does best How to approach it
2 The strongest all-around blend of character development, high-concept comedy and ensemble chemistry. The safest peak-season recommendation.
3 The most ambitious formal experiments, emotional stakes and elaborate mythology. Often recommended alongside Season 2; especially rewarding once the characters are familiar.
1 Introduces Greendale Community College, the study group and the show’s emotional foundation. Essential for newcomers, even though it begins as a more conventional sitcom.
5 A darker, reflective partial reset after major cast and production changes. Uneven, but it contains several standout episodes.
6 A different rhythm and lineup that still delivers worthwhile late-series episodes and a complete ending. Best saved for viewers invested in the full run.
4 Individual jokes, episodes and storylines that some fans enjoy. The most divisive and most optional season; creator Dan Harmon was absent for most of its production.

Seasons 2 and 3 are the usual “peak” recommendation, but dismissing everything after Season 3 is too simple. Seasons 5 and 6 feel different because of cast departures and production upheaval, yet both offer material worth seeing. Season 4 is widely treated as the weakest or least consistent stretch, not as universally unwatchable television.

Where should a first-time viewer begin?

Best full-series route

Start with Season 1 and use Peacock’s displayed season order. The show’s recurring jokes, relationships and genre experiments build on earlier episodes, so chronological viewing gives later payoffs their intended context.

Best quick sample

Watch several early Season 1 episodes to learn the study group and Greendale, then move into Season 2. A high-concept paintball, documentary or genre-parody episode is more effective after the ensemble is established.

Best route for returning viewers

If you already know the characters, jumping directly to Season 2 or Season 3 is reasonable. Starting with a late paintball episode or a Season 6 installment is less useful for a newcomer because those stories assume familiarity with the group.

  • First-time viewer: Season 1 in order.
  • Want the strongest run quickly: Seasons 1–3.
  • Returning fan: Season 2 or a personal favorite.
  • Curious about the ending: Continue through Seasons 5 and 6 after the first four.
  • Dislike Season 4: Treat it as optional, but get a recap before moving to the finale.

Why Community remains worth a Peacock rewatch

The series combines a study-group ensemble with meta-comedy and frequent genre shifts. Episodes can become paintball action films, stop-motion stories, documentary parodies, bottle episodes or other formal experiments while still advancing friendships and rivalries.

That structure rewards binge-watching: callbacks accumulate, running jokes evolve and seemingly disposable details can return later. Underneath the format play is a durable emotional core built around Jeff Winger, Britta Perry, Abed Nadir, Troy Barnes, Annie Edison, Shirley Bennett and the wider Greendale community. Peacock describes the program as a six-season, 110-episode comedy and lists its principal cast, including Joel McHale, Danny Pudi, Donald Glover, Alison Brie, Gillian Jacobs, Chevy Chase, Yvette Nicole Brown, Ken Jeong and Jim Rash.

Peacock’s own catalog also lists episodes with different content ratings, including TV-14 and at least one TV-MA listing. Check the rating attached to the specific episode you plan to watch rather than assuming one rating applies to the whole series.

Which Peacock plan do you need?

Peacock’s plan page listed the following prices at the time of research. Promotions, taxes, bundles and eligibility can change, so verify the checkout total before subscribing.

Plan Monthly Annual Key details
Select $7.99 $79.99 Excludes sports, movies and Peacock Originals. Confirm in the live title page or checkout that it includes Community before choosing it.
Premium $10.99 $109.99 Includes TV, movies, sports and Peacock Originals, with ads. The straightforward choice for viewers who also want Peacock’s broader catalog.
Premium Plus $16.99 $169.99 Fewer ads and downloads for some titles, but not completely ad-free.

Peacock markets annual plans as 12 months for the price of 10. Premium Plus can still show advertising on certain channels, live sports and events, and selected programs. It is therefore a poor fit if you are paying more solely for a promise of zero ads during every viewing session.

For a short binge, compare one month of Premium with services you already pay for before committing to an annual plan. Premium Plus makes more sense when you value downloads and the wider Peacock catalog, not just this sitcom.

Is Peacock the only place to watch it?

Peacock’s own page says “Available Now Only on Peacock,” while the July 30, 2026 U.S. JustWatch listing showed Hulu, Peacock Premium, Peacock Premium Plus and Philo, plus purchase options through Amazon Video, Fandango at Home and Apple TV Store. These results can reflect different dates, territories or rights definitions.

If Peacock is unavailable or poor value in your market, check Hulu or Philo directly. Their availability is licensing-dependent, and the cited third-party listing is not a current official title page for either service. For ownership-minded viewers, check Apple TV, Amazon Video or Fandango at Home; prices were not verified here. Digital purchases and physical media can provide more control than a rotating streaming license, but retailer stock and rights vary.

Practical viewing notes

  • Use Peacock’s displayed season order for a first watch rather than a fan-made “best episodes” sequence.
  • Do not assume the U.S. catalog applies in another country.
  • Peacock device support changes; its current supported-devices page has the latest browser, mobile, TV and console requirements.
  • If an episode appears missing or out of order, check the live interface before concluding that the series listing is incomplete.
