3. Linda Thompson
Thompson was Foster’s third wife. ABC News identified her as a previous wife and noted that she is the mother of Brandon and Brody Jenner. The reports cited here do not establish precise dates for the marriage.
4. Yolanda Hadid
Hadid was Foster’s fourth wife. The couple announced their separation in December 2015, after four years of marriage and nine years together, according to Entertainment Tonight. ABC News later reported that their divorce took place in 2017. Those milestones refer to different events: an announced separation and a later divorce.

5. Katharine McPhee
Foster and McPhee became engaged in July 2018. They married on June 28, 2019, at the Church of Saint Yeghiche in South Kensington, London. CBS/CNN’s wedding report described them as friends and collaborators for more than a decade. McPhee marked the wedding with the words, “Life is full of beautiful coincidences, isn’t it?” in an Instagram post reproduced by the report.
What is known about Foster and McPhee before they married
The public timeline is not the same as the beginning of their acquaintance. ABC News reported that they had known each other since McPhee’s American Idol days, more than ten years before their wedding. Us Weekly’s timeline says they were seen together in May 2017, became engaged by July 2018, and married in June 2019. Their years of friendship and collaboration do not, by themselves, establish that they were romantically involved throughout that period.

Girlfriend lists and commonly confused relationships
The cited reports support a sequence of five marriages, not an exhaustive account of Foster’s dating life. Public speculation or a friendship should not be presented as a confirmed romance without reliable reporting that establishes it.
One frequent source of confusion is McPhee’s own relationship history. Before Foster, she was married to Nick Cokas. ABC News reported their split in 2014 and formal divorce in 2016. Foster had played piano at their 2008 wedding; Cokas was McPhee’s former husband, not one of Foster’s partners.

McPhee also had a reported relationship with her former Scorpion co-star Elyes Gabel. Us Weekly described it as a two-year relationship that had ended before her public romance with Foster. Gabel was McPhee’s former partner, not Foster’s girlfriend.
