What is Dropout?
Dropout is a subscription video platform associated with CollegeHumor. It launched in 2018 and describes its service as a home for original, unscripted comedy. The standard membership includes ad-free streaming and access to the complete show library, according to Dropout’s official site.
Its best-known offerings span game-show formats, improv and tabletop role-playing. The homepage features Game Changer, Dimension 20, Make Some Noise, Very Important People, Dirty Laundry and Gastronauts. Featured titles and release labels can change, so check the current catalog for what is available now.

Choose monthly for flexibility
The monthly plan has the lowest commitment: you can pay by the month rather than paying a year in advance. It costs more than the annual plan’s first-year introductory rate when calculated across twelve months, but avoids that upfront commitment.

Choose annual if you expect to keep watching
The annual plan costs less than twelve months at the listed monthly rate, even at its stated renewal price. Budget for $69.99 per year after the first year rather than assuming the $55.99 introductory amount will recur.
Consider Superfan for the extras
Superfan is aimed at subscribers who value the additional merchandise, store discounts, early ticket access and Hub access—not simply a different level of video quality or a larger show library. Dropout says these perks are included, but specific items and benefits may change; check the plan page for current details.

Where can you watch?
Dropout says its apps are available across almost a dozen platforms. That broad description does not establish that the app is available on every device or in every region. For example, VIZIO’s app catalog lists Dropout, but device and regional availability should be checked for the equipment you plan to use.

In a customer case study, streaming vendor Vimeo says Dropout moved from maintaining custom streaming infrastructure to partnering with Vimeo Streaming. The account is Vimeo’s description of the arrangement, including comments attributed to Dropout Chief Digital Officer Andrew Bridgman; it is not an independent audit of the platform.

Bridgman said the partnership let the company focus its budget on content rather than building its own app and handling infrastructure-related concerns. He also described the value of technology that works without demanding constant attention. For subscribers, that history offers context about how the service operates, but it does not by itself establish current uptime, performance or support quality.
