The photograph was made in the Furnish-John family home in Old Windsor and includes Elton, David, Zachary, Elijah and the family’s two Labrador dogs. According to the Gallery, it was the first Furnish-John family portrait to go on public display and to enter a national collection.

The Zachary & Elijah Fund
The Elton John AIDS Foundation’s annual-report materials document a Zachary & Elijah Fund established in 2014. The restricted fund supported work involving young people and HIV/AIDS.
The Foundation later combined that restricted fund with its broader Young People restricted fund because the objectives and restrictions were aligned. This is a philanthropic fund named for the children. It should not be described as proof that Zachary or Elijah personally administer the Foundation, run its programs or make its grant decisions.
