Alison Krauss & Union Station announced their first tour together in ten years for 2025 and said they were finishing a new album. That album became Arcadia, released March 28, 2025; the tour ran from April 17 through September 28. Both are now completed milestones, not upcoming events.
What the 2025 announcement said
The tour announcement described a return to touring together for the first time in a decade and said the group was completing an album expected in 2025. It was the band’s first album since Paper Airplane, released in 2011. The Santa Barbara Bowl announcement carried the original tour details.

The “ten years” referred to the interval between tours, not the gap between albums. The official discography dates Paper Airplane to April 12, 2011, and Arcadia to March 28, 2025—nearly 14 years apart. See the official music page.
What happened to the tour and the new music?
The reunion tour began April 17, 2025, in Louisville, Kentucky, and concluded September 28, 2025, in Hollywood, Florida, according to Grammy.com’s retrospective interview. The teased record was Arcadia, released March 28, 2025.
#1 Best Overall
That release turned the announcement’s promise of new music into a finished album. The official artist music page lists both the release date and the earlier Paper Airplane date.
Who returned with Union Station?
The band’s return did not mean the exact earlier lineup reunited. The official artist biography says guitarist and vocalist Dan Tyminski did not return and would focus on his solo career. Russell Moore joined as co-lead vocalist and multi-instrumentalist. The biography also identifies Jerry Douglas on dobro, lap steel and vocals; Ron Block on banjo, guitar and vocals; and Barry Bales on bass and vocals.

Are Alison Krauss & Union Station touring now?
The dates established here belong to the completed 2025 run. No future dates or current ticket inventory are confirmed by those announcements, so they should not be treated as evidence that tickets are available now. For a present-day update, check the official tour page.
