Agatha All Along has not been officially renewed for Season 2, and Marvel has announced no release date. Marvel TV chief Brad Winderbaum has said the studio would want another season if the right idea emerges, but that is interest—not a renewal. Cast comments have been uncertain, and a third-party production listing claiming Season 2 was in production has not been corroborated by Marvel.
Is Agatha All Along getting a Season 2?
As of October 4, 2026, Marvel has not announced a second season in its official series materials or catalogue. There is no official Season 2 release date. The clearest answer is therefore: a continuation is possible, but it is not confirmed.
Several kinds of statements have circulated, but they do not carry the same weight:
- Marvel’s official status: No Season 2 announcement appears in the official Marvel materials reviewed.
- Executive interest: Marvel TV head Brad Winderbaum told TheWrap on February 21, 2025, “Yes, a second season for sure is something that we would want to do, but let’s not rush it. Let’s get the right idea and then make it.” This expresses willingness, not a greenlight.
- Creator account, as reported by a cast member: Patti LuPone told TheWrap on January 27, 2025 that Jac Schaeffer had said, “There won’t be one,” and, “I don’t do second seasons.” That is LuPone’s account of a conversation; TheWrap reported that Marvel and Schaeffer had not immediately responded to its request for comment.
- Kathryn Hahn’s view: In a Los Angeles Times interview published June 5, 2025, Hahn said she did not know what would happen, noted that things can move quickly or slowly, and said she would love to return. Her enthusiasm is not evidence that a season is in production.
A Production List entry updated April 28, 2026 claims Season 2 was in production and had been scheduled to begin filming in Atlanta in December 2025. Marvel has not corroborated that claim in the official materials reviewed, so it should not be treated as confirmation.

Why is it sometimes called “Coven of Chaos”?
“Coven of Chaos” was not announced as a Season 2 subtitle. Disney’s September 17, 2024 production feature identifies Agatha: Coven of Chaos as one of several earlier playful working titles for the first season. The released series’ official title is Agatha All Along.
What could a continuation be about?
Marvel’s official series page describes Agatha as powerless after a suspicious goth Teen frees her from a distorted spell. They assemble a coven and face the magical trials of the Witches’ Road. The story’s ending leaves one possible thread open: TheWrap’s finale coverage says ghost Agatha sets out with Billy to find his brother Tommy.

That offers material a future Marvel story could revisit, but it does not show that a second season has been ordered. Winderbaum has also said there are chapters in this part of the MCU that can be visited; that is a broad possibility, not a specific plan for Agatha All Along.
The coven and its members
Disney’s production feature describes the group assembled in Season 1: Jennifer Kale is the potions witch, Alice Wu-Gulliver the protection witch, Lilia Calderu the divination witch, and Rio Vidal the Green Witch. Sharon Davis joins the journey but is not a witch. Creator and showrunner Jac Schaeffer described the series as a story about a coven-less witch forming a coven, with community and shared power at its center.

How does VisionQuest fit in?
In May 2026, Marvel described VisionQuest as the final installment of the trilogy that began with WandaVision and continued with Agatha All Along. That framing places the shows in a connected story, but it does not amount to a cancellation announcement or rule out Agatha appearing in another project. It also does not confirm Season 2.
