What happened during the Perth ticket sale?
PerthNow reported that thousands of Western Australians tried to buy tickets when sales opened at 1 p.m. AWST on Thursday, June 26, 2025. That figure describes people attempting to buy, not the number who encountered a problem.
Customers quoted by the publication described different checkout difficulties. One said they selected tickets, reached payment and were sent back to the queue; others reported a crash or a payment that would not go through. These are customer accounts reproduced in PerthNow’s June 26 report, not independently verified technical findings.
What did Ticketek say?
Ticketek Entertainment Group spokesperson Tim McGregor told PerthNow that sales were strong and the website had held up to demand. “Sales have been fantastic and it’s clear fans are pumped to see AC/DC back on Aussie stages,” he said, adding, “No surprises there with a band like this.”

That was the company’s general assessment of the sale. The report does not include a technical explanation of the individual queue, crash or payment complaints, nor logs or an independent investigation that would confirm an outage or determine its cause.
Which tickets sold, and what did they cost?
PerthNow reported that front general admission standing was the first category to sell out, a process that took hours. Other sections were still available at 5 p.m. on sale day. The publication listed historical sale prices ranging from A$132 for B reserve seating to A$407 for Ultimate A reserve seating; these were 2025 figures, not current prices or an indication of present availability.

Which concert was the sale for?
AC/DC’s official announcement on June 22, 2025 listed the band’s Power Up tour date at Perth’s Optus Stadium for Thursday, December 4, 2025, with Ticketek as seller and Amyl and the Sniffers as special guests on the Australian tour.
