During the December 2024 and early February 2025 television storyline, Gino discussed a prolonged intimacy problem, while Jasmine considered whether opening the marriage could address their relationship difficulties. The reports establish the publicly reported status, but the exact court record, legal date, and terms were not independently verified in the researched material. Jasmine and Matt were not confirmed to be engaged by the July 2026 update. A post showing Matt on one knee prompted congratulations and engagement speculation, but Jasmine clarified that the gesture involved adopting a Chihuahua rather than a marriage proposal.
Jasmine explained, “Matt got down on one knee. Not to ask me to marry him, but to ask if we could adopt a Chihuahua. I said yes.” CinemaBlend’s July 15, 2026 coverage likewise described the engagement story as a mix-up caused by the dog-adoption post. Matt should not be described as Jasmine’s fiancé unless a later direct announcement confirms an engagement.
