“Dirty Business” is the sixth episode of The Boys Season 4. The first sections below are light on spoilers and set up the episode; a clearly marked section near the end reveals major developments, including what happens to Tek Knight.
1. The episode is “Dirty Business”
Prime Video lists “6. DIRTY BUSINESS” at 1 hour 5 minutes, with a release date of July 4, 2024. Its official invitation is deliberately vague: “Dear Visionary, Join fellow billionaires, disruptors, and politicos at Tek Knight Manor to discuss America’s future. RSVP for details.” Prime Video’s episode listing supplies the title, runtime, date, and synopsis.
2. The Boys are infiltrating Tek Knight’s estate
The gathering is more than a party: The Boys enter Tek Knight’s estate to find out what the powerful guests are planning. Mother’s Milk sends Hughie undercover to plant listening devices. TheWrap’s Episode 6 recap identifies Sage, Firecracker, A-Train, and Victoria Neuman among the attendees.
3. The political scheme raises the stakes
The guests’ discussion concerns a plan for Victoria Neuman to replace Robert Singer after he becomes president, according to TheWrap’s recap. That plot sits within a season in which Neuman is nearing the Oval Office and the Boys are split by Butcher’s lies. Amazon’s Season 4 guide also notes that Butcher has only months to live.

4. Hughie’s cover puts him in unexpected danger
Hughie poses as Webweaver, but the disguise comes with personal context he does not understand. Instead of simply planting bugs, he is drawn into Tek Knight’s private “sidekick” audition. The mission’s danger comes partly from this mismatch: Hughie is acting on an assignment, while the people around him believe he has signed up for something else.
5. Season 4’s release context
The season premiered with three episodes on June 13, 2024, then continued weekly through its July 18 finale, according to Amazon’s guide. The guide says Season 4 is included with Prime membership in the U.S.; subscription terms and viewing availability can vary by region and change over time, so check Prime Video for current details.

6. Expect extreme adult content
This installment contains extreme sexual material, violence, and foul language. Prime Video’s series advisory also lists nudity, alcohol use, substance use, and tobacco depictions. This is a deliberately outrageous adult superhero satire, not a family viewing choice; fictional drug use is not real-world guidance.
Spoilers: what Episode 6 reveals
Joe Kessler is not physically present
The episode reveals that the Joe Kessler seen with Butcher exists in Butcher’s mind. A moment involving Kessler and Butcher’s vision of Becca helps expose the truth. Showrunner Eric Kripke told TV Insider, “I have noticed that some of the fans have predicted it much to my chagrin, but I don’t know, maybe there’s just too much knowledge about Fight Club.” The explanation and quote are discussed in TV Insider’s interview with Kripke.

Firecracker makes a shocking offer
Firecracker offers to become Homelander’s exclusive breastmilk source. Kripke called the scene “the craziest thing we’ve ever done,” as quoted by TV Insider. It is an intentionally startling piece of fictional characterization, not medical or infant-feeding advice.
Hughie’s disguise ends in a deadly escape
Hughie’s Webweaver cover collides with Tek Knight’s “sidekick” audition, leaving him in a perilous situation. Tek Knight is killed by his butler, Elijah, and Hughie and the others escape, according to TheWrap’s recap and TV Insider’s interview.
