For Valentine’s Day 2027, the best Prime Video pick depends on the mood you want: The Idea of You for glossy modern wish fulfillment, The Notebook for a cathartic cry, Past Lives for bittersweet sophistication, Anyone But You for an energetic date-night comedy, or When Harry Met Sally… for sharp dialogue and slow-burn chemistry.

After a first date goes badly, two people pretend to be a couple at a destination wedding and gradually develop real feelings. The fake-relationship setup supplies plenty of banter, wedding scenery, romantic tension, and opportunities for the leads to keep denying what is obvious to everyone around them.

What Prime Video availability actually means
Prime Video uses several kinds of access, and they should not be treated as interchangeable:
- Included with Prime: The film is available through the subscription library, subject to the current plan and possible advertising.
- Rent: You pay a one-time fee for temporary access.
- Buy: You purchase the digital title.
- Add-on channel: The film requires a separate channel subscription.
Amazon’s Valentine’s Day collection brings together titles from these categories. A collection page is therefore a discovery tool, not proof that every film is included with Prime. Availability, price, format, advertising, and regional rights can change without notice. The United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and other markets may show different options.
If you do not have Prime, you may still be able to rent or buy an individual film through the Prime Video storefront. For a single movie night, compare the one-time cost with the price of a membership rather than assuming a subscription is the better value.
