The paloma and margarita are combined into one entry, while the final entry groups Roy Choi’s three fried-chicken treatments as a serving variation.
There are 25 food-and-drink entries worth pulling from Season 1 of With Love, Meghan—but the number needs a small qualification. Netflix Tudum’s guide describes these as recipes “inspired by” food seen in the series, not a definitive transcript of every dish prepared on camera or an official companion cookbook. This article uses an editorial count: the paloma and margarita share one entry, and the 25th entry groups Roy Choi’s three fried-chicken treatments into one serving idea.
The result is a practical, episode-by-episode guide to the show’s snacks, baking, sauces, drinks, seafood, tacos, salads, and entertaining food. The series was filmed at a California estate in Montecito, and its food segments mix demonstrations with conversations and hands-on hosting ideas.

Counting note: Netflix’s recipe guide lists sauces and supporting components separately. It does not label exactly 25 independent standalone recipes. The list above keeps the title’s 25-entry promise while making the overlap visible rather than pretending that the Roy Choi trio is a brand-new formula.
#1 Best Overall
Episode 1: “Hello, Honey!”
1. Truffle popcorn
This is the quick savory snack in the opening episode. The basic combination is popcorn kernels, neutral oil, truffle oil, truffle zest, truffle salt, and flaky salt. The useful balance is to treat the truffle ingredients as finishing flavors: popcorn supplies the base, while the oils and salts provide aroma and seasoning.
It is an easy choice for a casual screening or drinks spread because it can be served in a large bowl and does not require the elaborate assembly of the episode’s other food.
2. Honey lemon layer cake with raspberry
The cake is the more substantial Episode 1 project. The recipe uses three 8-inch cake rounds, lemon-honey syrup, buttercream, raspberry preserves, fresh raspberries, and lemon verbena or basil leaves for finishing.
The flavor structure is straightforward but event-friendly: lemon and honey go into the cake’s syrup, raspberry appears both as preserves and fresh fruit, and the herbs add a green garnish. The three-round format makes it a layer cake rather than a single sheet cake, so it is best suited to a celebration or afternoon gathering.

3. Tulip toasts
Tulip toasts are small pumpernickel bites topped with herbed goat cheese, chives, basil, and nasturtium flowers. They are designed as decorative party food: the flowers provide the tulip-like appearance, while the goat cheese and herbs keep the base savory.
Use edible flowers from a reliable food source rather than treating ornamental garden flowers as automatically safe to eat. The flowers are part of the presentation, not a requirement for the toast to work as a snack.
4. Ladybug crostini
These crostini use cherry tomatoes, olives, mozzarella, basil, baguette crostini, and balsamic reduction. The tomatoes and olives create the ladybug decoration; mozzarella and basil provide the familiar Italian-inspired flavor combination, and balsamic reduction adds sweetness and acidity.
They are among the most presentation-driven entries in the collection. Assemble them shortly before serving so the crostini retain some of their crispness.

Episode 3: “Two Kids from LA”
Episode 3 is the most component-heavy food segment. Roy Choi’s section combines fried chicken with kimchi, quickles, a ramen-salt seasoning, and three sauces. The guide credits these recipes to Choi, which is one reason not to describe every dish in the show as Meghan’s own creation.
5. Kimchi
Kimchi is the fermented, spicy accompaniment in the fried-chicken spread. In the episode’s setup, it is served alongside the chicken rather than treated as a garnish that can be ignored. Its acidity and heat give the richer fried food contrast.
Rank #2
6. Quickles
Quickles are the fast-pickle component of the meal. They are meant to provide a sharp, crunchy counterpoint to the tempura chicken and sauces. Together, the quickles and kimchi make the plate feel less heavy than a fried-chicken dish served on its own.
7. Tempura fried chicken
The central preparation is chicken coated in a tempura-style batter and fried. The guide presents it as a base that can receive different seasonings and sauces, rather than three unrelated chicken recipes.
What’s actually slowing this PC down?

For the best texture, serve the chicken soon after frying and keep the quickles, kimchi, and sauces separate until plating. That preserves the contrast between crisp coating, crunchy pickles, fermented kimchi, and liquid sauces.
8. Ramen salt
Ramen salt is the dry seasoning treatment for the chicken. It is one of the recipe guide’s separately listed components and is part of the reason the count can become confusing: a seasoning and a sauce may appear as individual recipe cards even though they are served with the same fried chicken.
9. Sweet Chile O’ Mine sauce
This is the sweet-chile route for the fried chicken. It gives the same fried base a sweeter, more immediately glossy and snack-like profile than the dry ramen-salt version.
10. Korean Crying Tiger sauce
Korean Crying Tiger sauce is another flavor direction for the chicken, adding a Korean-inspired sauce option to the platter. It works as a dip or drizzle, depending on how the meal is presented.

The soy-ginger sauce is the third sauce in Choi’s chicken setup. Its savory, aromatic profile provides a different finish from both the dry seasoning and the sweet-chile sauce.
25. Roy Choi fried-chicken trio
This final entry is an editorial serving variation, not an additional recipe card. Present the tempura fried chicken three ways: some pieces with ramen salt, some with Sweet Chile O’ Mine sauce, and some with Korean Crying Tiger sauce. Serve the trio with quickles and kimchi, and offer soy-ginger sauce as another dipping option.
That arrangement is the clearest way to make use of the guide’s separate components. It also explains why this article reaches 25 entries without claiming that Netflix published 25 wholly independent recipes.
Episode 4: “Love Is in the Details”
12. Sun tea
Sun tea is the episode’s beverage preparation. It belongs to the show’s broader idea of making everyday hosting feel considered: a simple tea service can be presented alongside food rather than treated as an afterthought.
Rank #3
Because tea prepared outdoors can sit for a long time in warm conditions, follow current food-safety practice for steeping and chilling it. The recipe’s name describes the presentation and method shown in the guide; it is not a reason to leave a beverage unrefrigerated indefinitely.
13. Focaccia
The focaccia uses bread flour or all-purpose flour, yeast, olive oil, rosemary, and flaky salt. The recipe specifies baking at 425°F. It calls for an enameled cast-iron braiser or baking pan, making the pan choice part of the recipe’s practical setup rather than merely a decorative serving detail.
An enameled cast-iron braiser can also move from stovetop to table for sauce-based dishes, but it should be chosen for the recipe’s stated dimensions and oven compatibility. A standard baking pan is an alternative identified in the guide if you do not already own a braiser.
14. Green pasta salad
This pasta salad combines pasta, peas, Swiss chard, snap peas, feta, mint, dill, and a lemon-shallot vinaigrette. It is a useful make-ahead-style entertaining dish because its appeal comes from a mix of textures and green vegetables, not from a last-minute garnish alone.
The feta adds salt and richness, while mint, dill, lemon, and shallot keep the salad bright. The vegetables also make this a more substantial side than a simple dressed pasta.
Episode 5: “Surprise and Delight”
15. Salt-baked fish with roasted tomatoes
The centerpiece is a whole branzino encased in a wet-sand-textured salt mixture. Lemon and herbs go inside the fish, while tomato clusters and lemon halves roast alongside it.
Salt baking creates a dramatic presentation, but the crust is not intended to be eaten as a normal coating. Break it open carefully, remove the fish, and check the thickest flesh for doneness before serving. The dish is best understood as a presentation technique built around a whole fish, not as a shortcut for cooking every type of seafood.
Episode 6: “The Juice Is Worth the Squeeze”
16. Plantain chips
Plantain chips are the crisp snack in the episode’s Latin American-influenced food spread. They can stand alone as a snack or be used to add crunch alongside the tacos, ceviche, and salsa.
17. Chicken tinga tacos
The tacos use poached and shredded chicken, a tomato-chipotle sauce, lime crema, tortillas, cilantro, queso fresco, and avocado. The component approach lets guests assemble their own tacos, which fits the series’ emphasis on relaxed hosting.
The tomato-chipotle sauce brings the main savory heat; lime crema cools it, while queso fresco and avocado add richness. Keep the tortillas and toppings separate until serving so the dish does not become soggy.
18. Halibut ceviche with leche de tigre
This ceviche uses halibut with a citrus-based leche de tigre made with yuzu, peach, and optional chiles. The result combines bright acidity, fruit, and heat around raw fish.

Ceviche still requires careful seafood handling: use very fresh fish from a source that understands raw or ceviche-style service, keep it cold, and do not treat citrus as a guarantee that unsafe fish has been made safe. The optional chiles allow the heat level to be adjusted without changing the dish’s citrus foundation.
19. Mason-jar paloma and margarita
The guide combines these two cocktails into one entry because both are shaken in a large Mason jar and finished with citrus. The jar is part of the informal hosting presentation, while the paloma and margarita remain distinct drinks with different flavor profiles.
A sturdy Mason jar is useful for the show’s serving style, but do not seal a jar tightly while shaking a carbonated drink. Add any sparkling component after shaking, and use a proper cocktail shaker if the jar is not designed for vigorous mixing.
20. Salsa Norteña
Salsa Norteña is the salsa component of the Episode 6 spread. It belongs on the table with the plantain chips and can also serve as an additional condiment for the tacos.
The recipe is one of the preparations for which a food processor is directly useful. Choose a bowl large enough for the batch you plan to make; a compact processor is convenient for small quantities but may require working in batches.
Episode 7: “Elevating the Everyday”
21. Homemade sweet creamer
The sweet creamer combines heavy cream or half-and-half, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla bean paste, and salt. The mixture is finished with an immersion blender or frother to make it smooth and cohesive before it is added to coffee or another drink.
A handheld milk frother or immersion blender is the most practical tool for this preparation. A frother is convenient for a small serving; an immersion blender is more useful when making a larger batch. Refrigerate the finished creamer and treat it as a dairy product.

22. Vicky Tsai’s potstickers
Vicky Tsai’s potstickers use Chinese chives, plant-based ground beef or another substitute, dumpling wrappers, avocado oil, and a soy-balsamic dipping sauce. The recipe is therefore suited to a vegetarian or plant-based filling, although the guide’s wording leaves room for another substitute.
The soy-balsamic dip adds acidity and savoriness to the browned dumplings. A potsticker press is optional; careful hand-folding works as well, provided the wrapper edges are sealed before cooking.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Episode 8: “Feels Like Home”
Alice Waters’ section turns garden produce into two simple dishes. The guide identifies Alice Waters as a guest, another reminder that the series’ food is collaborative rather than a collection Meghan personally invented.
23. Garden salad
The salad uses a dressing of garlic, sherry vinegar, olive oil, and lemon. Its strength is simplicity: fresh garden ingredients remain central, while the dressing supplies sharpness, acidity, and richness.
A mortar and pestle is a natural tool for working the garlic into the dressing, although a bowl and whisk are sufficient. Add the dressing close to serving time so tender greens do not wilt.
24. Carrot-top pesto with roasted carrots
This dish uses the carrot greens rather than discarding them. The pesto combines carrot tops, basil, nuts, lemon juice, garlic, olive oil, water, and Parmesan, and is served with roasted carrots.
A food processor makes the pesto’s texture easy to control. Pulse rather than over-process if you want visible flecks of herbs and greens. The pesto can be made while the carrots roast, then spooned over the finished vegetables.
What the 25-entry list leaves out
With Love, Meghan contains more how-to material than this food-and-drink count suggests. These items are deliberately not folded into the 25:

- Lavender cooling cloths: a hosting and self-care idea from Episode 4.

Are these official With Love, Meghan recipes?
They are official Netflix-published recipe-guide entries in the sense that Netflix Tudum published the Season 1 guide, but “official recipes from every episode” would be too broad. Netflix’s own wording says the recipes are inspired by food seen in the series and were created, collected, or enjoyed by Meghan and her guests.
That distinction matters for two reasons. First, the guide is not necessarily a complete transcript of every dish prepared on camera. Second, Meghan is not the sole creator of every recipe: the source credits guest contributions, including Roy Choi and Ramon Velázquez, and features Alice Waters and Vicky Tsai in the relevant episodes.
There is also no authoritative evidence of a dedicated official With Love, Meghan cookbook. Netflix provides the recipes online through Tudum, so a general entertaining or baking cookbook should not be marketed as an official companion to the series.
What changed after Season 1?
Netflix later published separate recipe and craft guides for Season 2 and for the holiday special. Those guides should not be silently added to a Season 1 list. The holiday material includes pomegranate syrup, reindeer chow, salt cod, and a branded As ever spiced cider mulling spice kit; the Season 2 guide is likewise a separate collection.
For readers continuing beyond this list, the sensible approach is to identify the season or special beside every recipe. That avoids mixing later dishes into a supposedly Season 1-only collection and makes it easier to check which guide supplied a particular preparation.
Best starting points for home cooks
- For the lowest-effort snack: truffle popcorn, plantain chips, or the tulip toasts.
- For a visually striking party table: ladybug crostini, the Roy Choi fried-chicken trio, or the Mason-jar cocktail presentation.
- For baking: the honey lemon layer cake or focaccia. The focaccia is the more approachable option if you want a savory centerpiece and already have a suitable pan.
- For a make-your-own meal: chicken tinga tacos with plantain chips and Salsa Norteña.
- For a seafood-focused menu: salt-baked branzino or halibut ceviche, with extra attention to fish sourcing and temperature control.
- For reducing waste: carrot-top pesto with roasted carrots turns the greens into part of the dish.
- For an everyday upgrade: homemade sweet creamer or the garden salad dressing.
For exact quantities and the source’s complete method, use the corresponding Season 1 recipe card in Netflix Tudum. This list is designed to clarify the collection, episode order, ingredients, guest contributions, and counting method—not to invent measurements that are not supplied here.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are these the official recipes from every episode of With Love, Meghan?
Netflix Tudum published the Season 1 recipe guide, but Netflix describes the dishes as recipes “inspired by” food seen in the show. The collection is not presented as a definitive transcript of every dish or as an official cookbook.
Recommended Free Tools
Is there an official With Love, Meghan cookbook?
No. Netflix has published online recipe guides through Tudum, but there is no authoritative evidence of a dedicated official With Love, Meghan cookbook. A general entertaining cookbook should not be described as an official companion.
Why is the 25th entry called a Roy Choi fried-chicken trio?
Roy Choi’s Episode 3 components account for much of the counting issue. The guide lists fried chicken, ramen salt, and multiple sauces separately. This article also groups those treatments into a 25th serving idea: a three-way fried-chicken platter.
Which guest chefs and food figures appear in the recipe collection?
Season 1 food guests and contributors include Roy Choi, Ramon Velázquez, Alice Waters, and Vicky Tsai. Their involvement is why it would be inaccurate to say Meghan personally created every recipe in the collection.
The Bottom Line
The most accurate way to describe this collection is “25 recipes inspired by Season 1 of With Love, Meghan.” It includes 24 distinct recipe or component entries plus one transparent editorial grouping of Roy Choi’s fried-chicken treatments. The food ranges from truffle popcorn and layer cake to tacos, ceviche, focaccia, potstickers, salads, sauces, and cocktails, while the show’s crafts and self-care how-tos remain outside the count.
