Rotten Tomatoes published the printable ballot on December 19, 2024, using Tomatometer and Popcornmeter scores available on December 12, 2024. The tables below preserve those ballot-time scores rather than presenting them as current ratings.
The title year can be confusing: the ceremony took place in 2025, but the awards recognized eligible film and television work from the period ending December 31, 2024. The ballot therefore belongs to the 82nd Golden Globe Awards, not to a ceremony held during the 2024 calendar year.

How to read the Rotten Tomatoes scores
The Tomatometer is the percentage of positive reviews from approved professional critics. The Popcornmeter represents the percentage of positive audience ratings. They measure different groups and should not be treated as interchangeable, a combined grade, or a prediction of which nominee will win.
Scores can also change after a ballot is published as additional reviews and audience ratings are added. For that reason, every percentage below should be read as the score shown on the ballot as of December 12, 2024.

What the ballot scores suggest
The numbers are most useful as a snapshot of the critical and audience conversation immediately before the ceremony, not as a retrospective ranking of the winners.

- FILM MOVIE TROPHIES: Total Size Of Each Film Movie Trophy Is 12.5"H.
- CUSTOM AWARDS: Customize Now With Your Own Text Engraving! Our Design Experts Personalize Each Film Movie Trophy With Care.
- HIGH QUALITY DESIGN: Great For Tournaments, Gifts, Prizes, And More!
- Strong across both groups: Anora appeared at 96 / 90, Conclave at 93 / 86, and Flow at 97 / 94. Those pairings show substantial agreement between critics and audiences at ballot time.
- Critics’ favorite with no displayed audience score: The Brutalist stood at 97 / —, while Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl and All We Imagine as Light each showed a 100 Tomatometer and no numerical Popcornmeter.
- Audience enthusiasm above the critic score: Wicked was 88 / 95, Inside Out 2 was 91 / 95, and Twisters was 91 / 95. The gap does not identify which score is correct; it indicates that the two groups responded differently.
- A particularly wide split: Moana 2 was 61 / 87, while Kinds of Kindness was 71 / 48. The first had a much stronger audience percentage than critic percentage; the second had a much stronger critic percentage than audience percentage.
- Television consensus: Shōgun led its series field at 99 / 90, Hacks and Abbott Elementary each showed 99 Tomatometer scores, and Baby Reindeer also appeared at 99 / 81.
These comparisons should not be turned into averages across categories. A film’s score was repeated when it appeared in multiple categories, and a missing Popcornmeter can make a simple category calculation misleading.

Where to use the ballot as a viewing guide
This ballot is most useful for building a watchlist: start with titles that combine high critic and audience scores, then use the larger gaps to find films or shows likely to produce a different reaction depending on your taste. Because the ceremony and ballot are archival, do not assume that a service listed in older coverage still carries a title or offers the same price.
Rotten Tomatoes’ original ballot article linked readers to a Golden Globe movie collection on Fandango at Home for digital rentals and purchases. That is a useful starting point for checking nominated films, but availability, pricing, territory, and subscription requirements can change. Check the current listing before renting or buying.

The same original coverage identified Paramount+ as a U.S. streaming destination for the January 5, 2025 ceremony. That reference is historical rather than a promise that the ceremony or related programming remains available there today.
Source and score limitations
The nominee scores in this article come from the two Rotten Tomatoes ballot images, while the winners are cross-checked against the official Golden Globes winners page. The images are graphical documents, and some song-category values were not legible enough in the available rendering to reproduce responsibly. Those values are identified as not safely transcribed instead of being estimated.
When a score is missing, treat it as unavailable on the December 2024 ballot. Rotten Tomatoes explains that a Tomatometer or Popcornmeter may not populate when a title does not yet have enough qualifying reviews or ratings. An unavailable score is therefore not evidence of poor reception.

Are these Rotten Tomatoes scores current?
No. They are historical ballot-time values available on December 12, 2024. Rotten Tomatoes scores can change as new critic reviews and audience ratings are added.
What does a dash mean in the ballot tables?
A dash means that Rotten Tomatoes did not display a numerical score on the ballot. It should be read as unavailable, not as zero.
What is the difference between the Tomatometer and Popcornmeter?
The Tomatometer measures the percentage of positive reviews from approved professional critics. The Popcornmeter measures the percentage of positive audience ratings. The two percentages describe different responses and are not interchangeable.
The Bottom Line
Bottom line: The 2025 Golden Globe ballot is best read as a December 12, 2024 snapshot of critic and audience sentiment. The Brutalist, Anora, Conclave, Flow, Shōgun, and Hacks were among the strongest consensus entries, while titles such as Wicked and Moana 2 showed how differently critics and audiences could respond. Use the original two-page ballot for archival verification and check current services separately before watching.
