The special-award announcement also said Chris Stapleton, Jessie Jo Dillon, and the Industry and Studio Recording Award winners would be honored during ACM Honors. Special-award honorees and ACM Honors recipients should therefore be understood as part of the wider 2024 ACM cycle, not as additional categories presented in the main winners table. The Academy’s special-award announcement provides the relevant distinction.
When and where could viewers watch the 2024 ACM Awards?
The 59th ACM Awards took place on May 16, 2024, at Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas, with Reba McEntire as host. At the time of the event, the ceremony streamed internationally on Prime Video and the Amazon Music channel on Twitch. The Academy’s post-show release said the full rebroadcast was available on Prime Video, followed by availability through the Amazon Music app and free on Amazon Freevee; the official 2024 distribution record documents that historical availability.
