The 14-year-old contestant was Max Chambers, a singer from Shreveport, Louisiana, who performed the Jackson 5’s “I Want You Back” on The Voice. A recap reported that Reba McEntire and Michael Bublé turned their chairs; MJVibe later reported that Chambers chose Bublé as his coach.
Who is the 14-year-old who sang “I Want You Back” on The Voice?
GodTube and MJVibe identified the contestant as Max Chambers, then 14 and from Shreveport, Louisiana. The age is the one reported in 2025 coverage, not a verified current age. GodTube’s recap describes his blind audition, while MJVibe’s September 23, 2025 report links to an NBC video of the performance.
What Michael Jackson song did he sing?
Chambers performed “I Want You Back,” credited to the Jackson 5. Although the song is closely associated with Michael Jackson, the sources identify this as a Jackson 5 performance—not a solo Michael Jackson recording.
Which coaches turned for Max Chambers?
GodTube’s recap says Reba McEntire and Michael Bublé turned their chairs. It also describes all four coaches dancing in their chairs and quotes Bublé telling Chambers, “The joy you just brought the whole room is immense.” Those reactions and remarks are reported by the recap; the sources do not establish an exact episode number or broadcast date.
