Spoilers for the Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo manga. Yuji Itadori is the strongest character in Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo on the evidence described so far, but the ranking is editorial—not an official power scale. Dabura Karaba, Mahoraga, Maru, and Yuka Okkotsu are close contenders, and matchup conditions matter: the Dabura–Mahoraga fight was interrupted before it produced a decisive winner.
How this ranking works
Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo, credited to Gege Akutami and Yuji Iwasaki, takes place in 2086, 68 years after the Culling Game, as beings called Simurians arrive on Earth. Shueisha’s official series listing names Yuka Okkotsu, Tsurugi Okkotsu, and Marulu Val Vol Yelvori among its characters and lists three collected volumes. VIZ describes the series as “Jujutsu sorcerers and aliens!” and directs readers to MANGA Plus for the latest free chapters available in their location; access therefore varies by region. See VIZ’s listing.

No official character-strength ranking is established by those listings. This list is an editorial comparison based on reported combat feats, versatility, adaptation, resilience, and the strength of the available evidence—not a publisher or author verdict. Secondary rankings disagree about the order, so the placements below emphasize demonstrated performance over predictions about what a character might eventually do. The summaries of manga feats below are reported by secondary coverage, not an official combat index; consult the chapters themselves for full context.
Who are the strongest characters in JJK Modulo?
-
Yuji Itadori
Yuji takes the top spot for the breadth and scale of the abilities attributed to him in Modulo. Secondary coverage describes him using Piercing Blood against a building full of sorcerers and Simurians, producing large-scale Dismantle attacks, and appearing able to use Black Flash at will. Taken together, those reported feats suggest an unusually versatile fighter who can threaten groups as well as individual opponents. This placement reflects demonstrated output as summarized by that coverage, not an official ranking or a guarantee that Yuji wins every matchup. See the comparisons from OtakuAni and FandomWire.

-
Dabura Karaba
Dabura’s case rests on an unusual range of techniques and his ability to learn during combat. Secondary accounts describe a light-based ability, another technique rendered with a non-translatable symbol, and technique reversal. His reported fight with Mahoraga also highlights rapid adaptation in the tactical sense: he learns as the battle develops. One secondary list places him first and another second. Since the duel was interrupted by Maru and Yuji, it does not prove that Dabura defeated Mahoraga—or the reverse. See OtakuAni and FandomWire.
-
Mahoraga
Mahoraga’s adaptation makes it a formidable opponent in a prolonged fight: it can adjust to phenomena, turning an enemy’s repeated approach into a worsening problem. That advantage is conditional, however. Mahoraga must survive long enough for adaptation to matter, and the ability should not be read as automatic immunity to every attack. Its encounter with Dabura was interrupted rather than settled, so the available account supports a high placement, not a decisive claim of superiority. See OtakuAni and FandomWire.
Rank #2
-
Maru
Maru’s “Chaos and Harmony” technique is reported to interfere locally with physical laws, including gravity, the movement of objects, and water temperature. Secondary coverage describes it as difficult to counter and says it can continue operating while Maru is unconscious. That breadth gives Maru a strong claim among the series’ top threats: the technique can change the conditions of a fight rather than simply add force to an attack. These are reported manga feats, not entries in an official stat sheet. See OtakuAni and FandomWire.
-
Yuka Okkotsu
Yuka is identified in secondary coverage as a Ten Shadows user who summons Mahoraga, giving her access to one of the most dangerous abilities discussed in this ranking. But a powerful summon does not make her equivalent to Mahoraga in every respect, and the same coverage points to a serious health constraint that limits her performance. Her placement reflects demonstrated strength, not a hypothetical version of Yuka without that limitation. See OtakuAni and FandomWire.

-
Tsurugi Okkotsu
Tsurugi’s strongest cited showing is fighting Maru and temporarily combining with Rika for a power boost. That makes his peak state relevant to a ranking of combat strength, but the boost is temporary; it should not be treated as his permanent baseline. His position here weighs that demonstrated high point against the stronger or broader evidence available for the top five. See FandomWire.
-
Marulu Val Vol Yelvori
Marulu is part of the central cast identified by Shueisha, and secondary coverage also refers to the character as Maru. The ranking evidence available here concentrates on the abilities attributed to Maru, rather than establishing a separate combat profile for “Marulu.” This entry should therefore be read as the same character, not as an additional fighter with independently demonstrated feats. The official listing uses the full name Marulu Val Vol Yelvori.
Rank #4
-
Mahito
Mahito appears in a broad secondary character ranking, but the available material does not establish a comparable Modulo combat showing for him. That makes this a low-confidence placement: inclusion reflects a candidate named in coverage, not evidence that he has outperformed the fighters above. See FandomWire.
-
Dura
Dura is another name included in the broad secondary list, but the evidence summarized there does not provide enough direct combat detail to support a close comparison with Yuji, Dabura, or Maru. The placement is consequently tentative, and should not be mistaken for a demonstrated result. See FandomWire.

The Deskunte chieftain
The Deskunte chieftain is also named among the candidates in secondary coverage, but the available account supplies little or no direct combat evidence to establish a reliable position. Ranking the character here is a cautious inclusion, not a claim of proven strength above other lightly documented fighters. See FandomWire.
Is Yuji stronger than Dabura or Mahoraga?
Yuji ranks first here because the reported feats combine large-scale attacks with multiple techniques. Dabura has a credible challenge to that position through his technique variety and combat learning, while Mahoraga’s adaptation makes it especially dangerous if a fight lasts long enough. No decisive Yuji-versus-Dabura or Yuji-versus-Mahoraga result is established in the evidence summarized here, and Dabura’s interrupted duel with Mahoraga cannot settle their relative strength. Treat the order as a best-fit reading of reported feats, not a universal matchup outcome.
Where to check the feats
For the most reliable context, read the manga chapters behind these reported showings rather than relying on rankings alone. Shueisha’s official series page lists volumes 1–3: Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo on Weekly Shonen Jump. Chapter availability through VIZ’s MANGA Plus link depends on the reader’s location, as VIZ’s listing specifies.
