Rin Itoshi is the strongest officially identified striker in Blue Lock, but “best” depends on what you value. This editorial ranking weighs scoring threat, finishing, signature weapons, adaptability and the limited selection-stage rankings published by the franchise. It is not an official all-time leaderboard. The list is manga-aware, so anime-only viewers should expect spoilers for abilities and later developments.
How this Blue Lock striker ranking works
Blue Lock’s characters are forwards with very different ways to decide a match. A power shooter, a penalty-box predator, a speedster and a play-reading finisher should not be judged by one statistic. The order below synthesizes the official character descriptions and selection context available, rather than treating popularity as performance.

- Scoring threat and finishing: how directly a player turns chances into goals.
- Signature weapon: the skill that makes the striker difficult to contain.
- Versatility: whether the player can adapt when a defense removes the first option.
- Official context: published rankings or profile descriptions, where they exist.
The 2024 Magapoke character poll, reported by ORICON, is useful for measuring popularity but not ability: Isagi received 224,734 votes and Rin received 125,471.

|---|---|---|---|

| 6 | Meguru Bachira | Dribbling | Creates his own route through pressure instead of waiting for service. |
| 7 | Rensuke Kunigami | Physical strength and long-range shooting | A direct, powerful threat who can finish from outside the box. |
| 8 | Hyoma Chigiri | Speed | His pace changes the geometry of the attack and stretches defenses. |

1. Rin Itoshi
Rin is the strongest choice for No. 1 because he combines the fewest obvious weaknesses with exceptional finishing tools. The official manga publisher identifies him as Blue Lock’s number-one ranked striker and emphasizes his exceptional overall ability and kicking technique. That is the firmest official ranking statement attached to any player in this list.

Rin’s case is not simply that he scores; it is that he can threaten a defense through several technical and tactical routes. His complete profile makes him the benchmark against which the other strikers are measured.
2. Yoichi Isagi
Isagi’s weapon is information turned into action. His official profile highlights spatial awareness, direct shooting and anticipation, allowing him to identify the most valuable location before opponents recognize the danger.
That makes Isagi unusually adaptable. He does not need to win every physical duel or beat every defender with a dribble if he can arrive first, read the next movement and finish directly. He ranks below Rin here because Rin’s published all-round and kicking profile is the stronger established baseline, not because Isagi’s popularity is lower or higher. Popularity votes answer a different question.
3. Ryusei Shidou
Shidou is the list’s most specialized attacking predator. His official profile emphasizes an exceptional instinct for goals inside the penalty area, where reactions, positioning and finishing speed matter more than elaborate buildup.
That specialization makes him terrifying when a team can deliver the ball into dangerous zones. He sits third because his case is strongest as a goal hunter rather than as the broadest all-phase forward.
Rank #2
4. Shoei Barou
Barou combines individual strength, physical conditioning and a distinctive long-range weapon. The official character profile describes his curved shot as reaching 27 metres, a specified range that gives defenders a problem well before he enters the box.
His scoring threat comes from forcing the defense to respect both his body and his shooting lane. Barou’s direct, self-created approach places him below the more complete top three but above strikers whose primary weapon is easier to neutralize at distance.
5. Seishiro Nagi
Nagi’s exceptional trapping is an attacking weapon in its own right. He can control difficult deliveries so cleanly that the first touch becomes the beginning of a shooting action rather than a pause in possession.
The Tool Desk
Outbyte PC Repair FREERepair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Outbyte Driver Updater FREEFix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →That ability lets him turn awkward balls and tight spaces into chances that most forwards would lose. Nagi ranks fifth because his ceiling is extraordinary, while the players above him have a more consistently defined all-round or specialist scoring case in the published profiles.
6. Meguru Bachira
Bachira’s dribbling makes him a striker who can create the conditions for his own shot. Instead of depending entirely on a teammate to break the defensive line, he can carry the ball through pressure and alter the shape of the attack.
That freedom is why he belongs in the top ten. He is sixth because this ranking gives slightly more weight to demonstrated finishing profiles than to chance creation alone.
7. Rensuke Kunigami
Kunigami offers a straightforward but valuable combination: physical strength and long-range shooting. He can contest robustly and still threaten the goal from outside the area, giving a side a direct outlet when intricate combinations are unavailable.

A strong frame plus distance finishing can punish a defense that retreats too deeply.
8. Hyoma Chigiri
Chigiri’s speed is a complete attacking weapon, not merely a highlight trait. Pace can turn a harmless recovery into a breakaway, force defenders to protect space behind them and open lanes for teammates.
He ranks eighth because speed creates the opportunity rather than guaranteeing the finish. Within a team that can release him early, however, his threat can exceed this nominal place.
Rank #4
9. Jyubei Aryu
Aryu’s reach and jumping ability support a strong aerial-threat case. Height, timing and contact point can create finishing opportunities that defenders cannot handle in the same way as ground attacks.
The anime’s official announcement placed Aryu immediately behind Rin among the then-top-ranked players at that selection stage. That announcement is time-bound evidence, not a current manga-wide leaderboard, so it informs but does not determine this ranking.

Tokimitsu brings exceptional physical strength and stamina to the forward line. The anime’s official announcement described those qualities as top-class, giving him a foundation for repeated duels, pressing and sustained attacking effort.
He takes the final place because physical dominance can underpin a striker’s game even when a single signature finishing technique is less clearly defined than the weapons above.
Strong alternatives to the top ten
Tabito Karasu
Karasu is the most persuasive omission if you value analysis, marking and versatility over pure finishing. He was identified as an official top-six-rated striker at the relevant selection stage, and his ability to read and disrupt opponents gives him a strong team-creation case.

Reo Mikage
Reo is another credible alternative for readers who prioritize all-round forward play. His broad skill set can make a team more functional even when he is not the final shooter.
Is Rin better than Isagi?
On the strongest explicit official evidence, Rin is ahead: he is identified as Blue Lock’s number-one ranked striker, and his profile stresses exceptional overall ability and kicking technique. Isagi is the more compelling rival when the question is adaptability through spatial awareness, anticipation and direct shooting.
So the answer depends on the test. For the clearest established all-round benchmark, choose Rin. For a forward whose value grows by reading the field and exploiting the next opening, Isagi has the stronger argument. The popularity poll cannot settle that debate because it measures fan votes, not striker performance.
Anime-only readers: what to know
The list uses manga-aware character development and should be treated as spoiler-sensitive. The official selection announcements cited here describe rankings at particular points in the story; they should not be read as a permanent, up-to-date order for every manga arc. Viewers who want to avoid later ability developments should stop at the anime material they have watched before reading the individual assessments.
