Harry Styles’s main reported base is Hampstead, a village-like district in north London, where recent coverage associates him with a cluster of three nearby homes. A February 2026 House & Garden overview also reports residences in Italy and a secondary base in Berlin. Earlier reporting links him to a Tribeca penthouse in New York and to Los Angeles houses, but those are best read as past or unconfirmed holdings rather than his current address.
Reports about celebrity property rarely show who lives where today. The sections below separate what each source says about ownership, purchase, sale and sightings, and they keep the answer at city or neighborhood level.
How to read the status of each property
A property in a portfolio article is not automatically a home Styles lives in. Each claim below carries one of five labels:
- Reported current base: described as where he currently lives, usually from a recent overview.
- Reported ownership: described as owned by him, with no occupancy detail.
- Historical purchase or sale: a transaction that was reported at a specific date and price.
- Rental or sighting: a stay or public appearance, which says nothing about ownership.
- Attributed report: a claim from media in another country that the sources reviewed did not confirm against public records.
London: the Hampstead cluster
Hampstead is the best-supported answer to where Styles is based in the UK. Reporting consistently places his principal London life there, and it is the only area where several properties are linked together.

The first Hampstead home (2012)
Styles reportedly bought his first Hampstead home in 2012, when he was 18. House & Garden describes it as a four-bedroom house and says he still owns it, citing the Evening Standard for that present-ownership claim. Ownership is the only status here that is stated as current.
The 2019 and 2020 purchases
The Evening Standard reported in March 2020 that Styles had bought a five-bedroom Georgian semi in 2019 and a third Hampstead property for £4.175 million in 2020. That later purchase was described as a stucco-fronted villa from the early 18th century, sold without being advertised on the open market, and the report relied on Land Registry documents. House & Garden’s 2026 overview calls the group three homes. The sources do not give a full, current record of each property, so treat the two later purchases as reported holdings and check Land Registry title records for any changes after 2020.
Local estate agent Trevor Abrahmsohn, quoted by the Standard, read one purchase this way: “I think by buying the other half of the house he’s just completing the picture and presumably restoring the house to the mansion that it once was.” That is the agent’s interpretation, not a statement from Styles. James Morton of Dexters described the street in similar terms: “It’s a very exclusive, very prestigious address, quite quiet but maybe that’s what the joy of somewhere like that is,” adding that it is “Somewhere to escape to, but still very convenient for getting in and out of the centre of London.”
United States: New York and Los Angeles
Tribeca penthouse
Architectural Digest reports an $8.7 million purchase of a Tribeca penthouse in 2017. Its February 2025 overview does not establish that Styles still owns it, so it belongs in the historical column, not the current residence column.

Mansion Global reported in 2019 that a buyer was under contract for his gated Sunset Strip home. That is a record of a past property sale in progress, not evidence of a current residence. Architectural Digest also recounts an earlier Beverly Hills home that he sold in 2016. Neither Los Angeles property should be presented as a place he lives now.
Italy and Berlin
House & Garden’s February 2026 overview says Styles is widely reported to own an apartment in Rome, a home near the Lazio-Umbria border and a villa on the Tuscan coast. The Tuscan villa claim cites Italian reporting. The same overview says he has reportedly set up a secondary base in Berlin’s Mitte district.
These are attributed reports. The sources reviewed do not confirm them against public property records, and sightings of Styles in any of these cities do not establish residence or ownership.
