If you’re asking “Where is Scott Mills?”, the confirmed answer is about his work, not his physical location: the BBC said on 30 March 2026 that he was no longer contracted to work for the corporation. Reporting available as of 8 October 2026 does not establish where he is or what job, if any, he has taken since leaving.
What is Scott Mills doing now?
Mills is no longer contracted to work with the BBC, according to a BBC spokesperson’s statement reported by ITV News on 30 March 2026. That statement confirms his BBC departure; it does not say where he is physically or identify a new role.
He left during March 2026 after presenting BBC Radio 2’s Breakfast Show, which he had taken over from Zoe Ball in January 2025. The BBC announced Sara Cox as the programme’s new host, with her show due to launch in summer 2026, according to RTÉ. The handover establishes who succeeded Mills on the programme, not what he is doing now.
Why did Scott Mills leave the BBC?
The BBC’s public statement did not give a reason. ITV reported that Mills said an allegation of a historic sexual offence had been made against him in 2016 and that he had cooperated with and responded to a police investigation in 2018. He said he would not comment further.

The Crown Prosecution Service determined that the evidential threshold for charges had not been met. This is a reported procedural timeline; it is not a court finding of guilt or innocence.
ITV further reported that Neuroblastoma UK ended its patron relationship with Mills. That development does not establish his current whereabouts or employment.
