John Cena arrived in Australia ahead of WWE’s Crown Jewel: Perth on October 11, 2025, while Cody Rhodes made a surprise appearance at a Perth charity meet-and-greet. The events were part of WWE’s October weekend at RAC Arena—not the separate Perth schedule announced for December 2026.
Did John Cena arrive in Australia for Crown Jewel: Perth?
Yes. PerthNow reported on October 10, 2025, that Cena had arrived in Australia ahead of Crown Jewel: Perth the following night. The report said he was spotted in Sydney before preparing to travel to Perth. WWE had billed the event as Cena’s final Australian WWE appearance during his 2025 farewell tour. PerthNow’s report and WWE’s event announcement provide those details.
Where did Cody Rhodes make his surprise appearance?
Rhodes appeared at a meet-and-greet in Perth for Make-A-Wish Foundation and the Starlight Foundation, according to PerthNow. The surprise gave fans a chance to see his championship belt and take photos. Mitchell Newton, 18, of Ocean Reef, told The West Australian, as quoted by PerthNow: “I turned around and there was this big gold belt.” Newton added: “It’s very recognisable. It’s great. I got to hold it and take a couple of pictures. He’s got an aura about him.”
What was scheduled for WWE’s Perth weekend in 2025?
WWE’s announced October schedule placed three shows at RAC Arena. The Western Australian Government also listed Rhodes versus Seth Rollins among the Crown Jewel weekend attractions.
