The WWE title design that matches the “beautiful design” reveal was the WWE Tag Team Championship, unveiled on SmackDown on April 19, 2024. It was introduced for A-Town Down Under—Austin Theory and Grayson Waller—not announced as a new 2026 championship. The striking look drew praise in contemporary coverage, though “beautiful” is an aesthetic judgment, not a measured ranking.
Which WWE titles were revealed?
On the April 19, 2024 episode of SmackDown in Pittsburgh, Paul Levesque unveiled a redesigned championship for A-Town Down Under. The titles were to be known as the WWE Tag Team Championship, according to Cageside Seats’ contemporaneous report, published the following day.
The report described the design as “absolutely beautiful” and an easy contender for one of WWE’s top designs. That is the writer’s enthusiastic reaction, not a formal poll or objective ranking. The report also interpreted the change as ending titles branded to individual shows; that was its reading of the change at the time, not evidence of WWE’s current naming practice across every championship.
Why do championship designs matter to fans?
A belt is both a wrestling prop and a visual shorthand for a title’s identity. Its plates, strap, and recurring symbols can make a championship recognizable in photographs and broadcasts, while design callbacks connect a current title to earlier eras. WWE’s historical feature “The 10 most beautiful titles in sports-entertainment history” presents the Winged Eagle as a fan-favorite classic and discusses the appeal of title plates and straps.

- Kids can be a champ with WWE Championships!
- The leather-like belt measures more than 3 feet long.
- The kid-sized titles feature an authentic style replicating real titles for immersive role-play!
- Play out championships seen on RAW, SmackDown and NXT!
- Fans can collect every championship and rule the WWE Universe (each sold separately, subject to availability).
That attachment is personal rather than a settled ranking. WWE’s feature on championship belt maker Dave Millican quotes him saying, “It’s hard to beat that classic ‘Winged Eagle,’ ” in “WWE’s ‘Ace of Belts’ Dave Millican’s 10 favorite championship titles.” The same article relays Millican’s recollection of an original design request: “We want a new title where the eagle consumes the main plate,” [former WWE producer] Chief Jay Strongbow reportedly told Reggie Parks. That reported conversation is Millican’s account as conveyed by WWE, not independently verified dialogue.
Can fans buy the design as a replica?
Yes. WWE Shop lists an officially licensed WWE Tag Team Championship Replica Title Belt and identifies it as the design revealed on SmackDown on April 19, 2024. The listing specifies a polyurethane strap, zinc-alloy front and side plates, acrylic rhinestones, snap fasteners, and a cloth carrying bag. Price, stock, and shipping details can change; consult the listing for current purchase terms. The existence of WWE Shop’s product does not establish that a particular marketplace listing is genuine or available.

How should this design be compared with older belts?
There is no supported objective score or definitive “best” ranking for the 2024 design. A useful comparison instead asks what each belt communicates and what version is being discussed:
- Historical identity: Does the design evoke a recognizable WWE era or earlier championship, such as the Winged Eagle?
- Visual treatment: How do the plates, strap, and decorative details work together?
- Naming and branding: What title name appears on the belt, and how is the championship identified?
- On-screen belt or replica: A consumer replica is a physical product with specified materials; it should not be treated as proof that every detail of its construction matches the belt used on television.
WWE’s historical selections offer editorial context, not a formal survey of fan opinion. The sources establish the 2024 reveal and the existence and listed features of a replica, but they provide no relevant popularity statistic or measured design ranking.
