This rumor roundup is best read as a historical fact check, not a current preview. John Cena did enter the 2025 Royal Rumble, but the available official record does not verify the specific Becky Lynch/Netflix or Paul/Tyson/SmackDown claims. A later WWE storyline paired Cena with Logan Paul on SmackDown; that is a separate matter from Mike Tyson.
Was John Cena in the Royal Rumble?
Yes. WWE’s official report for the 2025 men’s Royal Rumble lists Cena as entrant No. 23, with a match time of 30 minutes and 31 seconds. Jey Uso eliminated Cena and won the match. The result resolves the question as an event outcome, rather than a rumor: WWE’s 2025 Royal Rumble report.

What does “Lynch on Netflix” mean?
The specific Becky Lynch/Netflix claim in the title is unverified: the official sources available do not establish what the rumor alleged or whether Lynch had a Netflix appearance. WWE and Netflix did announce a distribution partnership, but that is not evidence of an individual talent’s appearance.
What WWE and Netflix announced
In January 2024, WWE and Netflix said Raw would move to Netflix beginning in 2025. The announcement described Raw as exclusive to Netflix in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Latin America, with additional territories to be added. It also said WWE’s other weekly shows and Premium Live Events would be available on Netflix outside the United States. These were distribution terms by territory, not confirmation of a Becky Lynch project: WWE and Netflix’s January 2024 announcement.

How US availability changed later
In January 2026, WWE announced that Netflix had become the US home for WWE’s library of Premium Live Events held before September 2025, including Royal Rumble. That later US library change should not be confused with the original January 2025 arrangement: WWE’s January 2026 announcement.
Was there a Paul vs. Tyson SmackDown angle?
The title’s specific Paul/Tyson/SmackDown framing is not confirmed by the official material available here. WWE did later announce a different pairing: on August 21, 2025, it said Cena would return to SmackDown on the way to facing Logan Paul at Clash in Paris. That announcement concerns Logan Paul and Cena; it does not substantiate a Mike Tyson claim: WWE’s SmackDown announcement.

Why this is a retrospective, not a current preview
WWE announced that Cena’s final match would take place on December 13, 2025, a date that has passed. Its announcement also referred to a selection of Cena final-match merchandise at an official WWE Superstore; it did not establish current stock or availability: WWE’s final-match announcement.
The evidence establishes the Rumble result and the later Cena–Logan Paul storyline, while leaving the specific Lynch/Netflix and Paul/Tyson rumor claims unresolved. No original publication or date for the exact rumor roundup has been identified, so those unverified hooks should not be treated as confirmed WWE news.
