DIRECTV lists NBC Sports at channel 619 HD, but its page says the content is currently unavailable with a DIRECTV package or Genre Pack. That listing does not confirm that DIRECTV carries the relaunched national NBC Sports Network. Check your local DIRECTV guide before relying on channel 619.
What channel does DIRECTV list for NBC Sports?
DIRECTV’s NBC Sports page displays NBC Sports on channel 619 HD and includes an availability notice. Because of that notice, the listing alone is not proof that you can watch the channel with your service or package.
There is also a timing distinction: NBCUniversal announced a new 24/7 NBC Sports Network in November 2025, after the earlier NBCSN had been discontinued. Its launch announcement said the new network would be available first on YouTube TV and soon on Xfinity; it did not name DIRECTV as a launch distributor. The announcement does not establish whether DIRECTV added it later, so the available information cannot confirm current DIRECTV carriage.
Is channel 619 the relaunched NBC Sports Network?
DIRECTV’s channel listing does not establish that the NBC Sports feed at 619 HD is the relaunched national network. The listing’s unavailability notice and NBCUniversal’s announcement of initial distributors leave DIRECTV’s later carriage status unresolved. Check the channel guide for your own service, or contact DIRECTV to confirm whether the specific national feed is included in your package.

Do not confuse the national network with regional NBC Sports channels
DIRECTV lists these separate regional sports networks:
| Channel | DIRECTV listing | Network identity |
|---|---|---|
| 630 | NBC Sports Boston | Regional sports network |
| 696 | NBC Sports Bay Area | Regional sports network |
| 698 | NBC Sports California | Regional sports network |
These regional channels are not the national NBC Sports Network. DIRECTV says regional sports network availability varies by ZIP code and package, and local lineups can differ. A regional NBC Sports channel in your guide therefore does not confirm access to the national feed.
