AMC’s official material confirms a trailer for The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live as a series, but it does not verify an official episode-five trailer showing Rick and Michonne having trouble escaping. Treat “Rick & Michonne Find Trouble Escaping” as an unconfirmed description, not a verified trailer synopsis.
What AMC has confirmed
AMC announced the series’ first trailer on January 10, 2024, and identified Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira as returning to their roles as Rick Grimes and Michonne. The announcement set the premiere for February 25, 2024, on AMC and AMC+ (AMC’s first-trailer announcement).

AMC’s series overview frames the story around Rick and Michonne’s relationship in a changed world, asking whether they can find each other and recover who they were (AMC’s series overview). That establishes the show’s broad premise, not the content of a specific episode-five trailer.
Does the escape description identify an official episode-five trailer?
The AMC pages available for this article do not verify an official episode-five trailer matching that description or confirm particular escape-related scenes. A YouTube result labeled as a “concept” promo is not evidence of an official AMC trailer. Without an AMC announcement or other confirmation, the title’s escape wording should be read as an unverified claim rather than a confirmed account of trailer footage.

How the trailer claim relates to the series premise
Rick and Michonne are the central returning characters, played by Lincoln and Gurira. AMC describes their story as a search for one another and for who they were in a changed world. Its February 6, 2024 programming announcement also describes a world shaped by war against the dead and, ultimately, the living (AMC’s spring 2024 programming announcement).
Those official descriptions explain why danger and escape may be natural subjects for discussion, but they do not confirm what happens in episode five or what any episode-specific trailer shows. Keep confirmed series context separate from speculation about scenes.
