In Captain America: Brave New World, Harrison Ford plays President Thaddeus Ross, who appears as Red Hulk. Who is Red Hulk?
In Marvel Comics, Red Hulk is General Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, a military figure who becomes the kind of Hulk he had opposed. Marvel’s official character-profile excerpt says the group Intelligencia gives Ross his powers and seeks to use him for its own aims. Marvel’s reading-guide excerpt likewise describes Ross becoming what he hated. Those broad details establish the comic-book identity and context; they do not, by themselves, settle how the film adapts his origin.
