What time did it air?
AMC announced a 9 p.m. ET/PT time slot for Season 2 on AMC and AMC+. That is the announced season slot, not a time separately printed on the finale episode page. The announcement described the season premiere as Sunday, May 4, at 9 p.m. ET/PT; AMC’s finale listing specifies June 22 but does not independently state the finale’s clock time. AMC’s Season 2 announcement provides the slot and platforms.
Which episode is the finale?
“If History Were a Conflagration” is the eighth and final episode of Season 2. AMC’s spoiler-light synopsis says: “Maggie makes a painful choice, while Negan puts on a show.” The season has eight episodes; its story places Maggie and Negan on opposite sides of a growing conflict over Manhattan, according to AMC’s announcement.
