Just Jared also marks Hari Nef, Alexandra Shipp, Sharon Rooney, Ana Cruz Kayne, Ritu Arya, Ncuti Gatwa, Jamie Demetriou, Connor Swindells, Emerald Fennell and Ann Roth as “Unknown Net Worth,” saying it could not find accurate figures for them. Unknown does not mean zero; it means the feature does not provide an estimate for those people.
Why these figures are estimates, not a definitive ranking

The estimates can vary by publisher and date, and the feature itself does not establish a verified current total for every performer.

Simu Liu illustrates the uncertainty: Just Jared’s August 2026 list gives him an estimated $12 million, while a February 18, 2024 TIME profile relays a $4 million estimate from Celebrity Net Worth. These are different dated estimates, not evidence that either figure is definitively correct.
Robbie and Gosling’s 2023 earnings are a different measure
Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling also ranked highly on Forbes’ list of the highest-paid actors for calendar year 2023, published in 2024. Forbes España’s account places Robbie at No. 2 and Gosling at No. 4, based on estimated earnings associated with theatrical box office, video-on-demand and the first streaming window for Barbie. That is a one-year income ranking, not a measure of either actor’s total net worth. In Just Jared’s separate net-worth estimates, Gosling is listed at $70 million and Robbie at $60 million.

Why Barbie’s $3 billion figure is not an actor’s net worth
Just Jared’s slideshow places “Barbie” first at $3 billion, but that entry refers to estimated historical sales associated with the fictional character—not the personal wealth of a cast member. The feature says Forbes estimated in 2009 that Barbie had generated more than $3 billion in sales and notes it could not predict later sales. TIME separately reported that Barbie sales reached a record $1.7 billion in 2021; that is brand and product sales context, not cast income or net worth.
The distinction reflects the film’s wider commercial context. In its June 27, 2023 cover story, TIME described Mattel’s strategy as a shift toward managing franchises and intellectual property. Mattel CEO Ynon Kreiz said, “The most important transition was from being a toy-manufacturing company that was making items to becoming an IP company that is managing franchises.” The company’s brand sales and the actors’ personal finances remain separate measures.
