It ranks the entrants from least to most consequential, weighing match outcome, eliminations, time in the ring where documented, and importance to the closing story. The order is an editorial judgment, not an official WWE ranking; records are incomplete for three entries, so those placements are deliberately cautious.
How the ranking works
The Royal Rumble has separate men’s and women’s matches, so “the latest ten” does not mean ten consecutive annual editions of one match. It means the final entrant in each division’s match across five years. The women’s match began in 2018, according to the historical entrant list used here.

Last entry is not a guarantee of victory. The strongest cases combine a result with a lasting effect on the match: surviving to the final stages, eliminating major opponents, or shaping the finish. WWE’s official records provide detailed statistics for most of these entrants, but not all. Shayna Baszler, Brock Lesnar, and Nia Jax are included based on a secondary historical list identifying them as No. 30; no specific performance statistics are asserted for them here.

Nikki Bella — 2025 women’s Royal Rumble
Bella’s 3:04 in the match was the shortest recorded time among these ten entrants, according to WWE’s 2025 statistics. She did eliminate Bayley, a meaningful contribution, but Nia Jax eliminated her. The historical entrant list identifies Baszler as the No. 30 entrant. The sources available for this ranking do not establish her time in the match, eliminations, or elimination outcome, so her low placement is provisional rather than a claim about a particular performance. Sami Zayn — 2024 men’s Royal Rumble

Tiffany Stratton — 2026 women’s Royal Rumble

Liv Morgan — 2024 women’s Royal Rumble

Gunther — 2026 men’s Royal Rumble
Gunther entered No. 30 immediately after a career-ending match with AJ Styles earlier that night, giving his arrival a major narrative setup. He lasted 7:51 and was eliminated by eventual winner Roman Reigns. The short time in the match is a clear limitation, but the setup and final-two opponent give the entry unusual story weight. Cody Rhodes — 2023 men’s Royal Rumble
Rhodes is the clearest No. 30 success in this group: he entered last, won, and recorded five eliminations in 15:08. WWE lists Austin Theory, Braun Strowman, Dominik Mysterio, Gunther, and Logan Paul among those he eliminated. The victory and the decisive role in the closing stretch put him first. What these entries show about drawing No. 30
The final spot can set up a winning run, as Rhodes demonstrated in 2023, but it does not determine the result. In 2025, Paul and Bella both entered last and were eliminated by Cena and Jax, respectively. A late arrival can create an immediate story beat; what the entrant does after entering matters more.
Survival time alone also misses part of the story. Gunther’s 7:51 was short beside Stratton’s 12:48, but his arrival followed a consequential same-night match and he reached a final-two confrontation with Reigns. Conversely, a long run or dramatic entrance cannot substitute for the victory or eliminations that make an appearance decisive.
