What the series is about
Spider-Noir is a live-action series based on Marvel’s Spider-Man Noir comic. Cage plays Ben Reilly, a seasoned, down-on-his-luck private investigator in 1930s New York who must reckon with his former life as the city’s only superhero. It draws on the comic’s character and setting; Amazon’s description does not identify it as an adaptation of a particular issue. The Marvel comic behind the series is related reading, not required viewing.
Black-and-white or color: which versions are available?
Amazon says the series is available in both black-and-white and color presentations. The Prime Video catalog labels the options “authentic black-and-white” and “True-Hue Full Color.” The choice is a presentation preference: the listing confirms both formats are available, but does not describe them as different cuts or episodes. Amazon’s announcement also confirms the two versions.
