The report does not make the censored words audible, so their exact wording—and whether they were profanity—cannot be confirmed. Afterward, Haines apologized to executive producer Brian Teta and said, “I was quoting [Trump].”
What happened on The View?
TV Insider reported that Haines was speaking about Trump’s criticism of Somali immigrants and the distinction between discussing fraud and broadly condemning Somalis. Her remarks included the words “now it becomes all the Somalis, it’s everyone…”; the following portion was inaudible when the censor intervened. TV Insider’s December 3, 2025 report says she later apologized to executive producer Brian Teta and explained, “I was quoting [Trump].” The brackets are part of the reported quotation.

What did Sara Haines say, and why was she censored?
The available account does not reveal the missing words or identify the censor’s reason. It establishes that the remark was bleeped during the discussion, but not that Haines used a particular profanity or slur. Haines’s explanation that she was quoting Trump is reported; the precise words she was quoting are not audible in the account. No explanation from ABC or a broadcast standards authority is established in the cited coverage.
Was this the same incident as the earlier bleep?
No. The “once again” framing can refer to a separate November 18, 2025 episode. TheWrap reported that mentalist Oz Pearlman guessed Haines’s ATM PIN during a segment, after which she exclaimed a profanity; the broadcast video censored both the curse and her PIN. That incident was unrelated to the December 3 political discussion. TheWrap’s November 18 report covers the earlier segment.

Who is Sara Haines, and where can viewers watch The View?
ABC’s cast biography identifies Haines as a co-host of The View. ABC’s September 4, 2026 announcement says the show’s 30th season began September 8, 2026, and that episodes stream on Disney+ and Hulu the day after their ABC broadcast. That announcement does not establish whether the specific December 3, 2025 episode is currently available in either service’s catalog. See ABC’s season 30 announcement for the current general streaming schedule.
