Starting in 2026, U.S. viewers will be able to watch UFC’s covered premium events with a Paramount+ subscription instead of buying each event separately on pay-per-view. The seven-year agreement, announced by Paramount and TKO Group Holdings on August 11, 2025, covers 13 numbered events and 30 Fight Nights annually. Paramount+ will stream the package; select numbered events will also be simulcast on CBS.
What the Paramount–UFC deal includes
The U.S. agreement runs for seven years beginning in 2026. Paramount and TKO announced an average annual value of $1.1 billion; multiplied across seven years, that is the widely reported $7.7 billion total. TKO’s SEC filing says payments are weighted toward the later years, so $1.1 billion is an average—not a statement that the same amount is paid every year. Paramount and TKO’s announcement and TKO’s SEC filing describe the agreement.
The announced annual U.S. package consists of:
- All 13 numbered UFC events.
- All 30 UFC Fight Nights.
Paramount+ is the exclusive streaming home for the package in the United States. Select numbered events will also be simulcast on CBS, but the agreement does not put every event on broadcast television.
Do UFC fans still have to buy pay-per-view?
For the covered U.S. premium events, no separate UFC PPV purchase will be required once the new arrangement starts in 2026. The events will be available to Paramount+ subscribers “at no additional cost,” according to the companies’ joint announcement. That means no event-by-event PPV charge on top of the subscription; it does not mean access is free. Viewers still need a Paramount+ subscription, and the subscription price depends on the current plan and territory.

This is a change to how covered events are accessed, not a claim that every UFC event worldwide will be included on Paramount+. The announced package and the later territory expansions have specific regional and event limits.
Where and when will Paramount+ carry UFC?
The U.S. package begins in 2026. Subsequent announcements extended Paramount+ UFC rights to Latin America and Australia from 2026, and to Canada from 2027. These are separate territory-specific arrangements, not evidence of one worldwide package.

| Territory | Start | What the announcement establishes |
|---|---|---|
| United States | 2026 | 13 numbered events and 30 Fight Nights annually; Paramount+ streams the package, with select numbered events simulcast on CBS. Paramount and TKO |
| Latin America and Australia | 2026 | Paramount+ rights were announced for these territories. The cited announcement does not establish that the U.S. event counts or CBS simulcasts apply there. UFC announcement |
| Canada | 2027 | Paramount+ becomes the exclusive home of UFC numbered-event main cards for six years. This is not the same scope as the U.S. package, and the announcement does not say it covers Fight Nights. Paramount+ Canada announcement |
What viewers should check before an event
For a particular card, check the local UFC or Paramount+ listing for your country. The rights depend on territory, event type, and start date: the U.S. package includes numbered events and Fight Nights from 2026, while the cited Canadian expansion covers numbered-event main cards from 2027. In the United States, CBS is an additional option only for select numbered events; Paramount+ is the streaming destination for the announced package.
Do not compare the old PPV charge with a subscription as if they were the same kind of cost. A separate PPV purchase is being removed for covered U.S. premium events, but Paramount+ remains a paid service. The announcements do not establish a fixed subscription price, consumer savings, subscriber growth, or whether the rights deal will prove financially successful.
