Sony’s official film site offers a poster download and identifies Chan and Macchio among the cast, though it does not state when the poster first appeared or describe its artwork.
What is the new Karate Kid movie with Jackie Chan and Ralph Macchio?
Karate Kid: Legends centers on Li Fong, played by Ben Wang, a kung fu prodigy who moves to New York City with his mother. After he attracts the attention of a local karate champion, Li prepares for a martial-arts competition with guidance from Mr. Han, played by Jackie Chan, and Daniel LaRusso, played by Ralph Macchio. Sony Pictures’ official film page and the official synopsis describe the story.
What is confirmed about the poster?
The official film site includes a “DOWNLOAD POSTER” option. The available official information does not establish the poster’s original release date or describe what appears in the image, so the announcement’s “first look” framing should not be taken as confirmation of when the artwork debuted.
Cast and filmmakers
Alongside Chan, Macchio, and Wang, Sony lists Joshua Jackson, Sadie Stanley, and Ming-Na Wen in the cast. Jonathan Entwistle directed the film, and Rob Lieber wrote it. Karen Rosenfelt is a producer; Jenny Hinkey and Macchio are executive producers. These credits appear on the official film site.
