What Ice Spice said about Nicki Minaj
Ice Spice described the relationship as friendly but not close: “We don’t have the closest relationship, you know? But we’re definitely good.” She also called them “mutuals” and referred to their successful collaborations, according to HipHopDX’s July 28, 2024 report on the profile.

The interview also addressed leaked messages in which Ice Spice had criticized Minaj. Ice Spice said the texts came during frustration over contract negotiations and acknowledged she could have chosen different words. She added: “But at the end of the day, regardless of how I felt in that moment, [Nicki] is still somebody I respect as an artist, and I’m always going to admire everything she’s done for me and the culture.”
What she said about Latto
Asked about the perceived tension with Latto, Ice Spice said: “I feel like if we ever spoke and I asked her ‘What’s the issue?’ it’d be like a blank stare. It’d really be no issue whatsoever. Especially from me.” She described the situation as a joke that had been dragged out, while allowing that friendly competition could exist.

These comments express Ice Spice’s own assessment. The contemporaneous coverage does not establish Latto’s view or show that the two artists had mutually resolved anything. HOT 97’s July 26, 2024 report covered the comments and identified the Rolling Stone profile as published the day before.
