- Bad Boys (1995): Michael Bay’s first film introduces Miami detectives Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett.
- Bad Boys II (2003): The partners reunite for another investigation. Gabrielle Union plays Sydney, Marcus’s sister and a DEA agent.
- Bad Boys for Life (2020): Mike and Marcus return in a story involving a foe from Mike’s past.
- Bad Boys: Ride or Die (2024): The fourth film puts the detectives on the run amid a campaign against their late former captain. Sony’s official description says, “Miami’s finest are now on the run.”
Where does L.A.’s Finest fit?
L.A.’s Finest is a related spin-off series centered on Sydney, who starts work in the LAPD alongside Detective Nancy McKenna. JustWatch describes it as a 2019 series that ran for two seasons and 26 episodes. It is separate from the four theatrical films, so you can watch the movies without it; if you want the companion series, treat it as optional viewing rather than inserting it into the numbered movie order.
Where to watch the films
Streaming rights change by country and date, so check a local listing before subscribing, renting, or buying. JustWatch’s UK guide checked 173 streaming services on 6–7 October 2026 and listed the films across multiple services; its individual entries show that availability and purchase options differ by title. That is a dated UK snapshot, not a worldwide or continuing guarantee.
