Derek Jeter announced on May 8, 2023, that he and his wife, Hannah, had welcomed their fourth child, a boy named Kaius Green Jeter. He said the baby was born on May 5.

Jeter shared the news in a social media post, writing, “Welcome to the world lil man!!!” PEOPLE, in a report syndicated by Yahoo, and UPI reported the baby’s name and birth date from the announcement.

Kaius is the couple’s fourth child and first son. Their three older children are daughters Bella Raine, Story Grey, and River Rose, according to contemporaneous reports by PEOPLE/Yahoo and UPI.
