No. The reported $10-per-month YouTube TV promotion was a temporary offer during the 2025 Disney channel blackout, and the separate one-time $20 blackout credit had a December 9, 2025 redemption deadline. As of August 18, 2026, neither is a new claim opportunity. Some subscribers who accepted the $10 offer can still check past bills to confirm it was applied.
What happened between YouTube TV and Disney?
The companies’ carriage agreement expired at the end of October 2025. Beginning October 30, YouTube TV subscribers lost access to Disney-owned programming, including ABC, ESPN, Disney Channel, FX, FXX, Freeform and National Geographic networks. The precise local ABC lineup depended on the subscriber’s market; this was not an exhaustive list of affected channels.
YouTube TV said Disney’s proposed terms could increase costs for subscribers. Disney said YouTube TV removed the channels before the agreement formally expired and criticized Google’s negotiating position. The companies offered conflicting accounts of the dispute, so it is more accurate to say YouTube TV lost access to Disney-owned channels during a carriage dispute than to describe Disney as permanently pulling them. The Associated Press reported on the blackout and the companies’ positions.
YouTube TV and Disney announced a deal on November 14, 2025, and affected channels returned progressively. YouTube TV said previously recorded programs, personal preferences and recommendations would remain as they were, though local ABC stations were expected to return progressively. The YouTube TV announcement described the deal and the separate $20 credit.

What was the $10 monthly offer?
Contemporary reports described a promotion offering some subscribers $10 off their YouTube TV bill each month for six months—a potential total discount of $60. It was a reported account-level promotion, not a cash refund, a settlement or an automatic reimbursement for every affected subscriber. Android Central reported the offer; TechRadar reported its potential six-month value.
Not every subscriber necessarily saw the offer. Reports and subscriber accounts indicate it could appear in the membership-management or cancellation flow, but the available terms do not establish a universal eligibility rule. Treat it as a targeted retention promotion rather than a benefit promised to all YouTube TV customers.

How was it different from the $20 blackout credit?
| Offer | What it provided | Availability and deadline |
|---|---|---|
| Reported $10 promotion | $10 off per month for six months, potentially $60 in total | Targeted, account-specific offer reported during the dispute; it was not shown to every subscriber. No current claim window is established. |
| Public $20 blackout credit | A one-time $20 credit for affected subscribers | YouTube TV announced it separately and set a December 9, 2025 redemption deadline, which has passed. |
Some subscribers reported receiving both offers, but universal stacking rules are not established. Eligibility for one did not guarantee eligibility for the other. The official YouTube TV announcement confirms the separate $20 credit and deadline; it does not establish that every subscriber could combine it with the reported $10 promotion.
How subscribers found the $10 offer in 2025
These are historical steps, not a way to claim the expired promotion now. The labels and screens could vary by account, device and interface version.

- Sign in to the Google account that held the YouTube TV membership.
- Open the account menu and go to Settings or Membership.
- Select Manage membership.
- Look for a retention or promotional offer that explicitly said $10 off per month.
- Review the displayed terms, accept only if they suited you, and save or note the start date and end of the discount period.
- Check the next bill or billing screen to confirm when the discount began and when the regular charge would resume.
Some users encountered the offer while managing or attempting to cancel their memberships, but that did not mean a discount would appear for everyone. A promotion shown in an account was the relevant basis for accepting it; a general report or a $20 credit notice did not guarantee access to the separate offer.
Why might a subscriber not have seen it?
- Account-specific targeting: The offer was not established as universal, and account status or retention eligibility may have affected whether it appeared.
- Billing provider: A membership billed through Google Play, Apple, a carrier or another third party could have a different billing or credit process from a membership billed directly by Google.
- Different account or screen: Confirm that you are looking at the account that paid for the affected membership. Offer visibility could also differ between web and app screens.
- Separate offers: Seeing information about the one-time $20 credit did not prove eligibility for the $10 monthly promotion.
Because the promotion has expired, do not cancel a subscription now in the hope of making it appear. If you accepted it in 2025 but do not see the discount on a bill, compare the bill with the start date and billing-cycle terms shown in the offer before contacting support. If you never saw it, support may not be able to apply an expired promotion retroactively.

What can subscribers check now?
- Review past YouTube TV invoices or billing records for the months when an accepted $10 offer should have applied.
- Check the Google account’s membership and billing history, especially if you were billed directly by Google.
- If billing was handled by a third party, check that provider’s receipts and subscription records as well.
- Contact YouTube TV support about a discount you accepted but cannot find on the expected bills. Give the offer date and the billing periods in question.
The channels returned after the November 14, 2025 agreement; this article does not establish whether any later, separate carriage change affected availability.

If you are comparing live-TV services, verify the exact channels and local stations available at your address before switching. A service’s lineup can vary by plan and market, and a streaming bundle is not necessarily equivalent to YouTube TV’s full channel selection, local coverage or DVR features.
