How to watch the 2025 Finals Game 7 in the U.S.
ABC was the main U.S. television destination for Indiana Pacers at Oklahoma City Thunder. Check your local listings or provider’s channel guide for the ABC affiliate serving your area. ESPN’s viewing guide also listed the ESPN App, ESPN Radio and ESPN Deportes; the national TV broadcast was on ABC. ESPN’s announcement of the Finals coverage identifies ABC as the exclusive television home.

For streaming, the key was access to the local ABC station, not simply a service’s claim to carry sports. YouTube TV, Hulu + Live TV, Fubo and DIRECTV STREAM were among the live-TV options to check; availability varies by market. Enter your ZIP code in the provider’s channel lineup before subscribing. Sling TV may carry ABC in some markets and plans, but it is not a universal ABC option.
At a glance
| Option | Useful for | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Local ABC station | Viewers with ABC through cable, satellite or another TV plan | That your package includes the local affiliate |
| Over-the-air antenna | Viewers within range of an ABC broadcast signal | Local reception and signal quality at your address |
| Live-TV streaming service | Viewers who need an online live-TV option | Local ABC availability, current price, trial terms and renewal date |
| ESPN App | Viewers with an eligible provider login or subscription | Whether your account includes the required access |
Could you watch with an antenna?
Yes, if an ABC affiliate’s over-the-air signal reached your home. An antenna can avoid a recurring subscription, but reception depends on your address, terrain, building materials, antenna placement and local station. Check local station listings or a reception lookup, connect the antenna to the TV, run a channel scan, then select the ABC affiliate. Moving an indoor antenna near a window—or using an outdoor antenna where appropriate—may help if reception is weak.

Could you stream it through ESPN?
The ESPN App was listed as a viewing option, but access was not automatically included for every viewer. Depending on the account and applicable rights, you might need to sign in through a participating TV provider or have an eligible subscription. Do not assume that a basic ESPN+ subscription alone provided the live ABC broadcast. ESPN’s Game 7 listing is an official place to check for a replay or related video; availability and access requirements can change.
If the app denied access, check that your provider participates, your package includes the relevant access, your account is active, and your location is correct. Sign out and back in after verifying those details. If the entitlement still fails, use the local ABC station or another authorized provider that carries it.

Was there a free way to watch?
- Antenna: Potentially free over the air if ABC reception was available at your home.
- Existing subscription: A cable, satellite or live-TV streaming plan that included local ABC could provide access without a new subscription.
- Provider promotion: A live-TV service might offer a trial or promotion, but eligibility and terms vary. Confirm local ABC is included, note the renewal date, and cancel before renewal if you did not want a paid plan.
Free trials are not guaranteed, and some require payment details. Avoid unofficial “free stream” sites: they may use deceptive pop-ups, expose visitors to malware, and distribute unauthorized feeds.
