She and Jax Taylor discussed speech therapy as a way to get him support. Brittany later disclosed that Cruz was diagnosed with autism in fall 2024.
What Brittany said about Cruz’s speech
The account first appeared in a preview of The Valley Season 1, Episode 4, reported by Bravo on April 4, 2024. Brittany said Cruz had reached early milestones including crawling, walking and sitting up, and had said “dada,” “mama” and “doggie.” She recalled that he then seemed to regress and said he “stopped talking almost all together.”
That was Brittany’s description in an entertainment-program preview, not an independent clinical assessment. It does not establish why Cruz’s speech changed or provide a medical explanation.
What his parents said they were doing
In the same preview, Brittany and Jax discussed speech therapy. Brittany said they wanted to make sure Cruz had the help he needed. The report describes their plan at that time; it does not establish what therapies he receives now.
