The standout technical wrestlers in WWE history

For a direct look at his work against another highly adaptable wrestler, WWE links Angle’s SummerSlam 2004 match with Eddie Guerrero. That makes Regal a strong choice for viewers interested in the mechanics: look for how a grip, angle or transition changes the situation, rather than counting moves. His perspective also helps explain why a simple hold can be more revealing than a flashy sequence.
5. Daniel Bryan: grappling influences turned into match craft
