How to read these reported causes
The source for the dates, ages, issue associations and causes in the table is a compiled list of deceased Playmates of the Month. Its entries do not provide supporting documentation for every detail, so they should not be treated as substitutes for obituary, coroner or police records. The Stratten biography offers a separate account of her murder; Paige Young’s individual profile is also part of the same database. The causes listed here are presented as reported, not as independently verified findings for every person.
“Died young” is a descriptive choice for this article, not a formal category with a universal age cutoff. The database includes other women below 35, so these ten are a selection rather than a complete list of everyone who meets that description.
