What happened to each couple?
Daniel Hastings and Taylor Haag: married
Daniel and Taylor were the only Season 8 couple to marry. At the reunion, they said they had bought their first home and that their families had blended well. Reflecting on the compressed timeline before marriage, Daniel told Tudum: “When you’re trying to find the person you’re going to marry in such a short window of time, if you don’t have something that really tests you as a couple, you’re not sure how it’s going to translate into marriage.” Netflix’s December 2025 update called them husband and wife. Ben Mezzenga and Sara Carton: did not marry
At the reunion, Sara said Ben dropped her when she moved to Nashville. Ben said he believed they had split before she moved. Those are conflicting recollections from the two participants, not a single agreed account of the breakup. Netflix’s later update described both as single. Virginia said at the reunion that they were not aligned on key values, including LGBTQ rights and abortion. Devin later told Tudum that he wished he had expressed his political beliefs more clearly. These are their respective explanations for the relationship’s difficulties. (Netflix Tudum reunion recap; December 2025 update)
Joey and Monica: did not marry
The reunion recap says Joey and Monica chose not to tie the knot. They also differed over what their connection meant after filming: Monica said she understood they might date, while Joey said they had agreed to be friends. (Netflix Tudum reunion recap)

The reunion revisited the couples’ disagreements and breakups, but those later conversations should not be confused with the season’s marriage count: Daniel and Taylor were the sole pair to wed. It also announced that Season 6 alum AD and Love Is Blind: UK alum Ollie were a couple, and that Ollie proposed at the reunion. They are franchise alumni, not a Season 8 engaged couple.
