Stunt coordinator and second-unit director George Cottle said “the parameters and the fight always stayed within the dimensions of a real Honda Odyssey.” The crew removed some panels to accommodate cameras but, he said, did not build an oversized vehicle. The interior was padded because actors and stunt doubles worked inside it for more than a week. That account supports a specific conclusion: the sequence was designed around a cramped real-world set, with the performers’ working conditions in mind. It does not show that Deadpool and Wolverine have equal abilities, or that a vehicle’s dimensions make the contest fair. Rather, the confined space gives the action a different scale from fights staged in large open areas, another contrast Cottle discussed.
What is confirmed—and what remains rumor
Levy said rumors around the movie were overwhelming, according to The Associated Press. That remark confirms the volume of speculation, not any particular leaked account of a fight or a fairness mechanism. The cited sources provide attributable comments about the film’s relationship and stunt work; they do not authenticate a specific fight leak.

“Deadpool 3” was an informal development-era name: Levy said he and Ryan Reynolds worked on possible stories for that project before Wolverine’s return shaped the film. Disney’s press kit identifies the released movie as Deadpool & Wolverine. Calling it “Deadpool 3” can help identify the project, but it should not be taken as the film’s official title.
